Congratulations, you have just managed to get your hands on Russian Roulette - a rare kind of collaboration between Evil Twin Brewing (Denmark) and OMNIPOLLO (Sweden).

This beer would best be described as an IPA with a twist. A twist that will reveal itself first after you "bust some caps".

One thing remains sure however, if you like hops and the lush texture of a well crafted beer this will have you smiling as you face your destiny.

Good luck,
Jeppe (Evil Twin Brewing) and Henok (OMNIPOLLO)

Bottle @ beertemple. Aroma is fruity and floral hops, slight sweaty touch. Flavour is medium hop bitterness with loads of flavour, fruity, floral, nelson madness. Some malty notes but it’s the hops that shine here. Great stuff.

In short: A minimally malted, dry, somewhat yeasty, sharp and very hop-forward golden IPA. For hopheads.
How: Bottle 500ml (or whatever 1 Pint 0.9oz means), consumed as fresh as I could, one week after purchase, but that’s after the boat ride to north-america.
The look: Partially cloudy golden-orange body topped by a large white head with good retention and leaving lots of lacings on the glass.
In long: Nose is piney hops, floral hops, orange peels. A frank and bright inviting hoppy nose. Taste has a subdued shy crackery malt backbone, omnipresent yeast, dough, all kinds of hops flavors that bring dryness and bitterness (dry pine tree, dried orange peels, dried flowers). Finish is medium bitter, a bit of acidity and very dry, the type of beer you want to drink a sip of water after each sip of beer. A fun beer for hopheads. I didn’t care for its sister beer (the Black IPA called Evil Twin / Omnipollo Russian Roulette) which I drank fresh in Norway, so I was pleasantly surprised to find its sister beer more enjoyable after a long boat ride to north-america. A bit too sharp and abrasive to be really sessionnable but I enjoyed it nonetheless because I’m a hophead. And surely the person who came up with the actual Russian Roulette game must have been very drunk, but never as drunk as the dude who came up with the Russian Alphabet.

sonnycheeba (6259) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - NOV 22, 2012
Bottle. Pours gold with some suspended cumulus clouds and thick, frothy white head; good retention and spare lacing. Aroma is ripe citrus, homemade cookies, biscuit malt, natural sugar, organic herbs, and fresh cut bermuda grass. Flavor is bitter, fresh hops forward with Columbian grapefruit, sweet malts, southern pine, and some astringency; dry, hoppy finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

BeerandBlues2 (13697) - Escondido, California, USA - NOV 22, 2012
Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a large, frothy white head, medium to short retention, and good lacing. Aroma is pine, resin, and citrus pith, biscuit malt and light fruity esters. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, astringent citrus pith, light malt and fruity esters with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Brandman (2963) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 20, 2012
Yellow body, white head. Aroma is excellent, exotic fruits, bitter citrus, papaya. Just on the edge of going too far. Flavour is first nice fruity allover, the it starts to turn floury bitterness. Bit disappointment after such a fine aroma. One of the best aromas there is.
