Pours pitch black with a medium foamy mocha head. Looks absolutely fantastic and luxurious. Aromas of chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, muscovado sugar, nutty notes, cream. Taste is chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, muscovado sugar, roasted almonds, roasted malts. Fantastically well balanced and just amazing. Draught at Omnipollos Hatt. Opaque black liquid with medium to big, thick tan head. Gorgeous head with great retention. Aroma of bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, light wood, coffee, licorice and toast. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of bourbon, chocolate and light vanilla. Full bodied with low to medium carbonation. Excellent bourbon BA stout. Lots of bourbon flavour without being too sweet.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2015 Tap. Aroma of cocoa, espresso, vanilla, toffee from bourbon with a hint of alcohol. Taste is loaded with chocolate and an earthy component, toasted marshmallows, vanilla, soy, dark roasted with a nice bourbon flavor that isn’t completely integrated, more so with a backing vanilla next to it. 9-5-8-5-17 (tap on nitro)

Bottle, next to the original, aroma of chocolate and toffee, a lot of bourbon as it warmsup / oxidize, this one is a chocolate bomb compared to the original which leans more to dates/raisin type of stout, but that is probably because of age. Big vanilla, woody fudge & caramel bourbon, with a bit of spicy heat kick to it, nice, but not great [8-5-8-5-16]

Dark brown almost black beer with big persistent light brown head leaving lacing. Aroma has bourbon, vanilla, roast, milk chocolate and syrup. Flavor has licorice, bourbon and roast. Palate is thick with strong carbonation and feel of alcohol. Finish has medium bitterness with smooth alcohol which fits here. Aftertaste has bourbon, vanilla, roast, coffee and syrup. Bourbon works here well. Delicious.

Motor oil black pour with a mega dark brown head. Menacing pour, glugged out of the bottle. Aroma was big time bourbon, melted candy bar, vanilla, fudge, nouget, black malt, caramel. Yowzer. Flavors were heavily roasted malt, big bourbon, light smoke, green pepper, woody vanilla, black jelly bean. Mouthfeel was viscous with moderate carbonation. Good stuff. I had the original maybe two years ago and never rated it. Would love to try again.
