Draft. Surprisingly not as diabetes ridden as expected. Maple stupid soy and coffee. Lingers on the palate for a long time. Ok.

Bottle shared with the KL tasting crew. Poured a clear dark brown with a bubbly white head. The aroma is big peaty roasty malt, liquorice alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet, liquorice alcohol bitter with a rich, oily, roasty, boozy alcohol, medicinal, light maple syrup palate and it’s a really light on the maple syrup. Full bodied with flat carbonation. Way too boozy to be honest which totally dominates.

16 ounce can. Pours dark black with a ton of maple syrup to it. Waffle tasty.

bu11zeye (13288) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAR 13, 2017
(22oz bottle) Pours an opaque black body with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, some pesticide, licorice, and caramel. Flavor of roasted malt, soy, chocolate, molasses, smoke, maple syrup, and caramel.

2017/03/11 - Pours jet black with a soapy, tan head that quickly reduces and leaves ample sticky lacing. Aroma is cocoa, coffee, toasted malt, fudge and burnt maple syrup, with hints of vanilla and smoke. Taste is roasted coffee, bitter chocolate, syrup, fudge, light vanilla, alcohol and hints of licorice. Mouthfeel is thick and oily with smooth carbonation and a bittersweet, warming finish. Another fantastic imperial stout from Omnipollo. Whatever their formula for creating stouts is, it works extremely well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Omnipollo Agamemnon Maple Syrup Imperial Stout) Bottle 650ml at home, served into a snifter, ABV 12.5% Pours thick as motor oil. Totally black coloured body, small and thick dark brown head on top with average retention. Aroma of rich dark chocolate, alcohol, vanilla, roasted malts. Sweet taste with lots of dark and milky chocolate, roasted malts, coal, alcohol, vanilla, nicely bitter finish. Thick body with soft carbonation. Amazing beer.

mcberko (20255) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 11, 2016
22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out heavy maple syrup, followed by coal and cocoa. Flavour is sludgy, with lots of chocolate, fudge, and heaps of maple syrup. Heavy and sludgy, but well-constructed. Very nice.

Dahlstrom (454) - Nygatan 29, SWEDEN - NOV 2, 2016
650 ml bottle from Systembolaget. Pitch-black with a medium mocha head. Strong aroma of heavily roasted malt, syrup, coffee, bitter chocolate. Full-bodied, with a oily texture. Low carbonation. High bitterness.
