Aromas of tar, syrup, chocolate, molassses, black malts
Nice creamy with bitterness. Like drinking engine oil but better :-)
Loads of dark malts, tar, dark fruits, vanilla, muscavado
Aging this one for almost a year seems to've been a hit! RexTalionis (3775) - FINLAND - MAR 19, 2014
Bottle 65 cl. Pours black in color with a small beige head. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, some
salty licorice and faint smokyness in aroma. Roasted maltyness and sweetish notes in taste with some coffee
notes. Quite filling on the whole. Dark and bitter chocolate in aftertaste with a sweetish
twist. I’m sure there’s pretty much more to tell about this beer but this rant ends here quite
abruptlely though as it’s quite enjoyable to just drink this without some deeper thoughts. Dark chocolatey roastedness towards the end and at the same time to be frank this is a quite heavy beer with
no sign of the abv however. I do like it though. fugitive (2027) - Athens, GREECE - MAR 11, 2014

Bottle shared with vtafro. Pours deep dark blackish brown. Nose is fudge and hint of maple. Tastes very chocolaty, some wood, roasted malts, and maple. The syrup adds some sweetness on finish and overall it’s drying. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - FEB 22, 2014
Bottle. Black pour with tan head. Sweet maple, roasted , sweet malt aromas. Roasted, nutty, light sweet imperial stout tones, maple has an influence on the overall flavor but comes more in as sweetness. Smooth finish, very nice.
