Bottle from MDL liquor. Pours lemon yellow with a thin white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Lots of lemon on the nose and tongue. Has a touch of sweetness. Finished with a touch of bitterness. Solid.

Clear yellow pour with short lived white head. Lemon, grass, straw, apple and funk aroma. Taste follows nose with a heavy dose of sour/tartness. If this were a blind test, I would not have thought apa. I would have leaned toward sour varient.

Pours clear straw yellow with a thick and frothy - and evanescent - porcelain head. Putting the "pale" in "pale ale." Aroma delivers crisp, tart citrus plus apple and fresh malt tones. Flavor features all these, especially the lemon, and follows up with some subtle but zesty hops. Mouthfeel offers so-so body but lively fizz and a nice tart and hoppy finish. Not superb, but not a "lemon" either.

More aptly described as a sour than a pale. But it is very good. Citrusy, but not too much hop character.

Bottle shared. Pours a hazy straw color with a finger of foam that lingers. Huge Brett nose with tons of punchy lemon zest. Touch of funk and catpiss. Juicy lemon and horse blanket. Creamy and light. Zesty finish. Might have a little brett infection, but still drinkable.

22 oz bottle at home with the wife. Pours a hazy yellow color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have big lemon citrus, bigger tart, pale malts, hints of grapefruit citrus, too much lemon for me.

Smells like walking through a very wet damp grassy area. Hazy green yellow no head. Light delicious fruity Lemon funk over this well balanced pale. Great summer wild beer.
