COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Omnipollo Fatamorgana (8%). Drawing inspiration from the fidelity of a saison - rustic, alluringly cloudy and crisp - this double IPA was brewed using oats and wheat. Dry-hopped twice and completely untouched post fermentation to preserve aroma and flavor.

Uber-cloudy yellow pour. Likely the murkiest dipa on the planet. Small white head. Interesting to gaze at given the style. More akin to farmhouse style brew. Super fresh, clean, crisp nose. Lemongrass, herb, grapefruit, and pine needles. Taste mirrors the aromatics quite nicely, plus some spiced white grape undertones. Evenly bittered. Well balanced. Dry finish. Awesome take on the style. Brownie points for the gnarliest sediment ever seen. Chewable.

Pours a clouded orange color, together with a stable, one finger broad white head. Smells of a wet grass balanced fruitiness, with lots of juicy oranges, lime pulp, mango, kiwi and papaya sorbet. While being wonderfully fruity on first glance, there is a hint of a balancing cake maltiness detectable. Drinks very soft, with a lively ending, flavorful and balanced, doesnt feel like an 8 abv beer in any way. Has flavors of blood oranges, unripe banana, guava and a drop of wild honey, all getting entangled into whole grain bread, dried garden herbs and carefully toasted toffee. Turns a tad sweeter during mid palate, with a less pronounced fruit crispness, which returns even more powerful during the finish. It then produces a long lasting, lime defined hop bitterness, maintining a certain reminiscence of its exotic fruit ripeness. Tasty, bold, well balanced with a nice mouthfeel to it, very good.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy straw yellow with a billowing three finger head. Aroma is barnyard funk with just a hint of citrus. Taste is earthy grass with just a hint of citrus. Mouthfeel is creamy for a DIPA, but very good. Overall, I feel it missed the mark. Will not get this one again.

Bottle shared. Pours a hazy, pineapple juice gold with a fluffy white head that lingers. White grapefruit zest and crushed pineapple. Clean and pithy with good citrusy zest. Creamy palate, oat and flaked wheat. Bitter finish, but I could drink this pineapple milkshake all day.

Bardzo intensywny, owocowy aromat. Kremowe, bardzo pijalne, wręcz rześkie. Dużo fajnego, owocowego chmielowego smaku. No i elegancka, zamglona, żłta barwa. Bardzo dobre.

Bottle from Uba ja Humal (near 6 euros). Pours translucent yellow-ochre with small and inconsistent off-white head. Slightly unripe tropical fruits and soft grain products in the aroma, same goes for flavour. Tastes fruity sweet, finishes grapefruit bitter and dry. Pleasant softness on the palate, but the kinda harsh finish and fine but crisp carbonation dont mix all too well with it. But damn, it must be oats that make it so soft and smooth. Alcohols covered, too. Overall quite pleasant - not exactly what I have in mind when longing for a good DIPA but oh well, thats my problem.

Bottle, 0.33l. Pours murky clay color with medium soapy off-white head, fair lacing, lots of residue and sparkling appearance. Aroma of passion fruit, pineapple, pine and herbs. Taste starts with light sweet caramel, sour citrus and grainy, too. Following is resinous and fruity, mouthfeel is warming and smooth, while finish is medium bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Juicy and herbal IIPA with well hidden ABV...
