COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tired of talking my friends into pit stops at beer bars before heading “out” - in fear of having to drink bland lager all night - I set out to craft an ale that would act as companion throughout the evening. Leon is assertively hopped and fermented dry using champagne yeast. The yeast and the hops in combination with a simple malt bill provides the beer with a quality of being rich in taste yet refreshing.

Skål!

Oklar orangefärgad med fint vitt skum. Doftar fräscht citrus, apelsin och annanas. Smaken fyllig med frukt och malt, lite humlig. Eftersmaken hyggligt lång, citrus och lite beska.

Ładna średnio- i drobnopęcherzykowa czapa piany, w aromacie od razu czuć drożdże belgijskie, masa estrów, banany, przyprawy, brzoskwinie. W smaku dalej przyprawowe, biszkoptowość, brzoskwinia i ziołowa goryczka.

Quite hazy pour with fruity yeast and hop aroma. Dry palate with fine shy carbonation. Süffig enough companion to carry me through a long evening but a bit too expensive to do so. Skål Leon ;)

(330 ml bottle) A wonderfully cloudy pale orange beer. Vigorously carbonated with medium-sized bubbles, producing a large dense white head. The aroma is vinous and fruity: lemon, lime, biscuit, caramel and bread dough. This is followed by a notes reminiscent of a Cabernet Sauvignon: green grapes, peaches, and gooseberry. Finally, some graininess and earthiness towards the end. Remarkably refreshing, and fizzy on the palate, this could easily replace a sparkling white wine, accompanying a chicken dish or salad. A great example of the style.

Velmi prijemne vonave. Chut naozaj roznoroda a ani neviem co vsetko v nej citit. Na konci nie moc vyrazne.

Let gylden øl med pænt skum. Lidt sødlig/gæret duft og en frisk smag uden for meget bitterhed. Rigtig lækker tørstslukker. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled from tap at ’Craftbeer Corner Coeln’. Clear, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish, fruity and yeasty-spicy aroma of peach, honey, banana and clove. Sweetish, fruity and yeasty-spicy taste of honey, banana, clove and peach, followed by a short, moderately bitter, yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation Tasty!

Bottle enjoyed at home
Orange hazy, huge beige head with large ugly bubbles. Smell of fruity yeast esters, some spices, citrus hops, quite inviting. Light sweet, quite hoppy, nice citrus and grapefruit, also fruity yeast flavors, bone dry, spicy tendensies, quite interesting. Moderate to medium bitter, resin tail. Quite nice
