Tired of talking my friends into pit stops at beer bars before heading out - in fear of having to drink bland lager all night - I set out to craft an ale that would act as companion throughout the evening. Leon is assertively hopped and fermented dry using champagne yeast. The yeast and the hops in combination with a simple malt bill provides the beer with a quality of being rich in taste yet refreshing.

6.5%ABV. Belgian Pale Ale. Poured out light gold. 6SRM. Nose has some beery aromas. There may be some light formic acid as well. Light phenolic aroma on the nose. Overall a very refreshing nose on a pale ale. The foamy head reminds me Delirum Tremens the first time I had it! Mouthfeel is carbonated and beery. Palate has pale malt with water biscuits, saltines and a pronounced minerality to it, reminiscent of Perrier or San Pelligrino. Even some sea salt. Brief sweet malt. Some light wood near the middle with fresh wet pine or young oak or maybe cherry. Then the hoppy bitter that is solidly bitter but not a fresh hoppy bitter, closer rather to a perfumed, woody bitter of incense water or more appropriately what I imagine old bong water or hookah water to taste like. Finish is actually brief for me with the bitter fading pretty quickly. Goes on Favorites List !

BOTTLE. Lively pour, hazy light gold pour, good foamy white head.. Sweet juicy pineapple, passionfruit punchy nose.. Malty base, orange/citrus vibes in middle to end, finishing crisp from the champagne yeast.. Sourced Cellarbrations @ Capel

DWF; Bottle 33 cl., take away from Systembolaget, Karlstad. Pours large, cloudy gold yellow with a lasting, lacing, frothy to creamy, white head. Aroma is moderate, malt, tropic, mandarin, mango and light year and spice. Taste is moderate sweet and bitter, balancing, with a lasting tropic, light citric finish. Body is medium, texture is to oily, carbonation is soft.

0,75 bottle from systembolaget enjoyed at home - Hops has mango, tropical notes, pineapple and grapefruit. Slight belgian spice. The flavor is very nice and refreshing. Not much bitterness. The head lasts a long time. Flavor is much like the aroma. Would recommend! :)

Not keen on this one. Floral smell, lager like hops and spicy yeast make this beer. Taste is not as bad as the smell, but I still dont like it. Yuck

750ml bottle. Hazy peach with tall white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, orange and dry yeast. Taste is very dry with champagne yeast, tropical fruitiness, mango, pineapple and a dry cracker malt background with moderate to strong passing bitternes. Very dry medium mouthfeel, light to medium carbonation and lasting dry aftertaste dominated by champagne yeast.

klarowne, złote, bardzo obfita ale o raczej grubych okach piana, mimo to trwała i ładnie zdobiąca szkło;
delikatny, lekkie nuty belgijskie - pomarańcza, brzoskwinia, drewno, po ogrzaniu pojawiają się wyraźne kwaśne mlekowe i winne nuty;
ciało niskie ku średniemu, wysokie nasycenie, goryczkowy finisz;
zaczyna się drewnianą goryczką, czerwonym wytrawnym winem, potem przychodzi pomarańcza, jabłko, po czym wraca goryczka ;
fajne, sporo wrażeń z rożnych kierunkw.
