COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not particularly fond of this style, I wanted to craft a dark beer with the brightest flavours. Pitch black in color but with bright aromas of mango. Blind tasted you’d be forgiven for thinking that this was a glass of mango juice. Henok

Color marrone con sottile schiuma. Intense note di malti torrefatti e luppoli. Non molto equilibrata.

Bottled. Pours clear deep brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee notes, mango, citrus, woody notes and come chocolate. Sweet flavor that ends up being more dry and rather bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice BIPA.🌟🌟🌟🌟

Nice darkness with a tan head that holds well. Tropical fruit and malt to the nose. Mango, chocolate, burnt malt in the mouth. Dry bitterness from the roast. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Lots of tropical fruits with mango coming upfront, backup of light roastiness too. Lightly sweet, dry with moderate bitterness. Tasty and full of mango even near. The BB date.

MelvinKalksma (1764) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 26, 2016

Aroma:
Medium/heavy aroma of malts, caramel, tropical fruit, dark fruit, chocolate, roasted malts, coffee and hops.

Appearance:
Opaque dark brown/black beer with heavy yeast and with a slight beige/brown head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, tropical fruit, dark fruit and chocolate; ends slightly bitter and dry with roasted malts, coffee and hops.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Great mix of tropical fruit hops and roasted malts. Have to say the ’mango juice’ is not really strong with this one to be honest, but it does not really matter.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown beer with a medium sized, off white head on top. Aroma of coffee, tropical fruits, tea, light roast. Flavor is rather bitter, loads, of hoppy notes, roasty touches, not getting that much mango though. The bitterness lingers on for a long time in the aftertaste. Quite nice.

Vreselijk aroma. Belegen doffe visachtige geur. De smaak is droog, met hout en asse. Ik hou het bij eentje.

Bottle shared at home. Black with light tan head. Deep roasted chocolate malts, charcoal, ash, chocolate, toffee. Medium sweet, over medium bitter. Medium body, average carbonation. Tried really hard to find the mango but alas, it has fruity notes, but hoppy, roasted and burnt notes are overpowering. Love the roast and ashy aroma’s. Very nice bitter.
