COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mazarin is my take on a thinkers beer. Rather than being big and undecipherably complex I wanted to create something that would calm a hop yearning nerve without fuddling the brain too much. In other words, a lavishly hopped ale of judicious ABV an Extra Special Pale Ale if you will.
In fact, so extra special that it snatched a gold medal at the Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival 2013.

330 ml bottle @lstugan, andra lnggatan. Hazy yellow with a medium white head. Strong hoppy aroma of citrus, grass, passion fruit and pine. Taste reflects the aroma, but - and I never thought Id say this - overly hoppy, making it a bit astringent. Low to medium body, with a semi-dry texture. Medium bitterness.

Tap BD Camden. Pours hazy gold /amber, lacy head. Smells of porridge, hint of honey. A little thin in the mouth for me, given the oats was expecting something chewier. A decent pale, but shy of greatness.
