Rating #772 - Nov 17, 2013 - 3 oz sample courtesy of @craftbeerimport. Golden pour with a bubbly white head. Aroma is mild honey, mild lemon, orange, toasted rice. Palate is a bit messy, rice and corn toasted don’t provide enough body or depth to stand up to these hops, super bitter and tart and overloaded. An interesting attempt at a coeliac IPA, in any regard. sneakychi (77) - SWEDEN - DEC 6, 2013
Huge aroma sweet fruits, pine, tropical fruits. Really nice!
Golden, hazy with a two finger head.
Taste is bitter, really bitter. Some herb, gets me thinking of Fernet Branca which isn’t something I enjoy. Especially not in a IIPA...
Quite thin body. Idiosynkrasie (7508) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - NOV 29, 2013
330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey golden colour with huge, frothy, fully lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Hoppy aroma has notes of tropical fruit, mango, grapefruit, a sweaty resinous touch. Taste is bitter, chalky, mineral, medicinal, Aspirin, rice parings. Awful taste, the largest discrepancy between aroma and taste I can remember. 5lickv1c (113) - DENMARK - NOV 29, 2013
Bottle. Good looking, great aroma and nice taste. Ridiculous bitter though, really unbalanced beer. A pity because of the good promise. Rasmus40 (20616) - Beder, Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 18, 2013
Bottle from Havnens, Vejle. Cloudy golden with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - grass and grapefruit. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 181113

33cl bottle. Hazy gold. Huge sweet pineapple, grapefruit, and cereal nose. Taste gives thick pine needles, pineapple, cereal, corn, slightly odd thyme notes, and seriously bitter grapefruit. Fairly light bodied. Huge rough bitterness, what a massive citric kick this gives. Uncompromising stuff, but pretty enjoyable if you’ve got a taste for bitterness. chimpgibbon (555) - London, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2013
Bottle from Euston Tap. Well well. This is borderline unpleasant due to its astringent back end. Very pleasing funky fruity nose then whallop in the mouth with massive dryness and bitterness. Lemon then grapefruit then the mouthfeel of neat gin. Won’t revisit but def interesting. Arve_Christian (5138) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 6, 2013
On 35 cl bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika. Golden hazy color, good foam. Immediate aromas of hops, pine and some citrus: medium/high intensity. Medium/full body & complexity. Solid bitterness. Very enjoyable Enegaard (75) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 29, 2013
Crazy one! Pours like any other IPA, but the aroma is packed with complexity! A lot of hoppy fruitiness together with a range of herbs; salvia, thyme and even anise. Same with the taste, even got a salvia-like bitterness. Hard to pin down, but a truly interesting brew. Kind of blows your mind in a mild way, and for that alone I’ll rate this a bit higher than the actual taste is maybe worth. esp0r (2920) - NORWAY - OCT 27, 2013
Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Orange hazy, massive dense beige head. Smells of tropical fruits, orange peel, citrus, mango, some malts. Moderate sweet, earth and tropical fruits, blended together, extreme present citrus flavors, grapefruit, some very spicy things going on in here. Heavy heavy heavy bitter, extremely zesty, also eucalyptus and tiger balsam. Almost too much of the bitterness actually. Mouthfeel is very oily, almost fatty. Strange beer, very nice, but maybe too much hops?
