COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
On a stop over in Baltimore we were hosted by an overwhelmingly hospitable man – Brian Strumke aka Stillwater. Getting hammered drinking his potions - made out of rice and corn - it was with a sense of inspiration that we drove of early in the morning to catch out flight back to Sweden. Nathalius is an imperial IPA brewed with rice and corn. However, fair and alluring as though she might seem this miss will whip you into submission.

Brouwerij (959) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JAN 10, 2014
Bottle thanks to Alemax. Pours hazy orange with pillowy white head. Settles relatively quickly with minimal lacing. Aroma is tart, funky/musty, vegetal, fruity, bitter, stinky. Flavor is very bitter, planty, with resinous, skunky hops with a lasting, strong bitter, resinous aftertaste. Unpleasant. Moderate carbonation, medium-light body, and oily texture.

Interesting brew with a thick head of white foam, light golden orange body. The nose is grainy and a bit spicy with notes of light pepper and citrus zest. Mild pine hop notes on the middle with a crisp grainy malt flavour. The finish is mild and underwhelming.

33cl ølbutikken 36dkk. cloudy yellow, large white head. strong hoppy aroma, also what might seem like belgian yeasts or wild yeasts, spicy crisp note. Very nice aroma. Flavor is strong hoppy, bitter hoppy, slightly spicy bitter, belgian yeasty - I can’t help thinking saison yeasts, pretty bitter, but still very refreshing.

0,33 l bottle picked up @Kihoskh, København. Two fingers of fluffy white foam, covering a milk-shaded pale yellow body. Doughy yeast and strong resiny hops to the nose. Also some fine tones of tropical fruits. Light to medium body. Soft on the palate. Substantially bitter. Lots of resin and hop oils, tropical-fruity hop flavor. Light sweet, restrained malt flavor. heavily bitter and yellow-fruity ending. Not fully balanced. Drinks ok, though.

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy, opaque golden orange with a large foamy white head. Nose brings out some interesting herbal notes, various grains, and of course bold hops. Flavour isn’t as nice as the nose suggests, bringing out very harsh hop notes that scorch the palate, dirt, cardboard, and other weird harsh elements. Wow, this is really difficult to drink - the aromatics seem so promising, but the flavour profile is so brutal that I couldn’t finish my glass. Nice attempt, but this is too brutal é abrasive and undrinkable. Not sure what the goal was here.
