Neb is a home brew recipe that has been scaled up with no consideration to economies of scale. Some say idiotic, and as an economist I would have to agree. Get fresh or die trying.

Bottle shared at home. Hazy pale amber with big white head. Sweet malts, dense fruity, pineapple, passionfruit, lychee, white almond, white peppers, light dank weedy and resiny hops. Quite sweet and light bitter. Over medium body, slick thick gelly malty feel. Nice stuff.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Hazy orange with some tiny clumps floating around. Orange, grapefruit, mango, some dank weedy hops, sweet sugary malts, some alcohol. Quite fruity up front, followed by thick sweet malts and ending with a strong dry bitter finish. Full bodied. Good stuff, though the finish is a bit too bitter for me.

Appearance: very pale with a fine head. Very clear, completely translucent. Aroma is very hoppy and bitter. Refreshing and very piney. Some grass. Really intense northern pacific hops. Flavour is similar, quite boozy at first. Very bitter and hoppy but actually surprisingly balanced with the malt base. Mouthfeel is a bit too resiny for me, but the flavour develops beautifully to finish in a very complex and tasty double IPA with the needed malt base to compliment the heavy hopping. This one impressed me more and more with every sip, from being rather sceptical at first to really enthusiastic! Really well done IIPA.

Draught at the brewery, 11/29/16.
Lightly hazy, blonde-golden body is topped by a good-sized white head with moderate retention.
Nectarine, papaya, light cat, honey, biscuit and strong lemon-lime fill the nose with light resin on the finish. Medium amount of intensity to the hops with only a light juiciness but reasonably enjoyable tropical notes. Clean and not boozy.
In the mouth its quite dry with an initial burst of tropical fruit with light juiciness giving way to lightly biscuity/bready malts and some moderate resin. Pithy, dry, rather bitter finish with some alcohol on it. Fairly soft texture, but some more malt depth/richness would go a long way here.
