“Neb” is a home brew recipe that has been scaled up with no consideration to economies of scale. Some say idiotic, and as an economist I would have to agree. Get fresh or die trying.

Bottle from Systembolaget 4 month’s ago. Gold color, cloudy with a white head that leaves a lot of lacing. Aroma of citrus, floral hops, clementines, marmelade and pinaple. The taste is wonderful, grapefruit, sweet pineapple, pine, herbs and grass. Great body and a bitter, dry, finish.

Blond bier met wit schuim. Geur: wat metaal, fruitig, wat kaazig, licht tropisch fruitig. Smaak: hopbitter, fruitig, exotisch fruit, ananas, mango, mooi in balans met moutzoet. Lekker. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: bitterzoet.

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy blood orange gold with a white head. Aroma: pine, orange, caramel, mild toffee. Taste: pine, caramel, peach, orange rind, nettles flavours. Medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Moderate to high bitterness that lingers on the palate. The bitterness is a bit overpowering. Quite tasty.

UPDATED: JAN 11, 2018 Pivo u flaši 0,33. Narančasta boja i lijepa bijela pjena.

Dark orange with off white head from the can. Tropical citrus dank sauce. Shows a little of the abv, but I ain’t complainin. Big pineapple and grapefruit, light pine, some hefty malt and moderate bitterness. Slightly sticky.

Pours a hazy deep golden yellow with a big foamy white head. Strong aroma of pine and citrus. Medium body with plenty of lacing. Smooth with a full mouth tingly feel. Lots of herbal grass, citrus, and pine flavors. Finishes smooth with a light bitterness and a lingering hoppy aftertaste. Hides the alcohol well. Refreshing and enjoyable. Solid DIPA.

16 oz. can, consumed on 1-2-18. “Brewed by Twelve Percent LLC, Stratford, CT.” Pours dark bronze, mostly clear but slightly hazy, with a moderate to large amount of cream-colored head. Nice, dark color for the style and nice shade of head. Looks pretty good. Cloudier and less attractive in later pours. Scents of berry, peach, apricot, and mango. Juicy, fruity smell that doesn’t appeal to me. Smells like grapefruit with sugar. There’s an unfortunate fecal quality to the smell upon multiple sniffs. Lemon and some hops dryness atop a sugary, vanilla, sweet, malty base in the flavor. Powdered sugar. Some brine. Pencil shavings and wood chips. Gym bag finish and dry, lightly bitter aftertaste. Also some sharp hops spiciness in the aftertaste. The finish and aftertaste are quite good; I just wish the middle of the beer weren’t so darn sweet. A touch boozy but not problematically so. Complex in flavor and has some elements I do really like, but it’s sweeter than I would prefer. Medium to full body. Lively in the palate. Substantial and likable palate effects. Tone down the juiciness and sweetness, and this could be really good. As it is, it’s merely pretty good. A memorable and well-made beer even if it’s only half in my wheelhouse among Double IPAs.>3.6
