Pours dark brown with nice beige head. Aroma of chocolate, nuts, brown sugar, vanilla - like a fluid nougat cream or chocolate pudding. To be honest i can't smell any oak or bourbon notes. Probably they are all covered by the dessert aroma, but still it's great.
Same in taste - full bodied with high sweetness and some roasty bitter notes.
This is strange, cause I found the basic version quite artificial and unbalanced, In this version I can't find the bourbon notes but now I finally get the idea of the fluid dessert with all it's complexity. I'm impressed

33 cl bottle, served in snifter. Poured black as midnight on a moonless night with a two finger mocha tan head. Bubbles of carbonation are struggling to get to the surface, looks as thick as milkshake in the glass.
Aroma: wowzers! Smells like the best beer I ever held in my hand. Pecan, baker's chocolate, caramel fudge, vanilla, soy sauce. Taste: Liquid chocolate fudge brownie sprinkled with pecan and runny, creamy caramel. Vanilla, umami, devil's food cake, dark fruit, salty licorice, dark roasted espresso beans, raisins, whole wheat bread, dates, figs, and underneath all the sweet goodness there is the bourbon barrel supporting it all and making this a very complex tasting brew. Very, very chewy and full gloopy mouthfeel that completely covers the corners of your mouth and back of your throat. Full bodied with a very roasted bittersweet finish. Another dark artpiece from Omnipollo, bravo!

Shared bottle. Black beer with frothy beige head. Big aroma of nuts, toffee, caramel, chocolate with notes of vanilla and cocoa. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter, caramel, toffee, nuts, chocolate, light vanilla, cocoa and a hint of bourbon. Nuts and caramel in the finish. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Great beer, although not better than base version (from different batch).

19-11-17 // bottle sharing in Frankfurt. Deep black, beige head. Awesome nose. Hazelnut, nutella. Creamy. Sweet hazelnut. Chocolate milky. Cake. Mild oaky bourbon in the end.

Pitch black. Frothy, beige head, not really ample, but reducing to nice lacing. Lovely aroma of vanilla, nutty cake, marzipan. In taste it's sweet with a lot of nut flavours. In the aftertaste there are some notes of coffee and roasted malts. Medium bitterness. Creamy, almost olily texture, flat carbonation. Delicious imperial stout, tasting like fluid cake. However, usage of flavours is apparent and it tastes little bit artificially.

Wygląd: ciemne, nieprzejrzyste, brunatna drobnopecherzykowa piana - pozostaje po niej drobny pierścień
Aromat: słodko, syrop orzechowy, orzech laskowy, marcepan, wanilia, czekolada
Smak: dużo ciała, gładkie, wytrawne, lecz z lekka słodyczą, orzech, gorzka czekolada, bourbon, praliny, marcepan, cierpkość, goryczka średnio niska, nasycenie niskie, alkohol ogrzewający przełyk
Piwo lepsze od wersji podstawowej.

Oh god lord. Incredibly tast stuff, tons of fudge, caramel, chocolate and some obviously present but surprisngly and pleasantly subtle notes of bourbon.

33cl bottle. Pours black with brown head. Lovely aroma of vanilla, brownies, chocolate, coffee, bourbon, nutella. Taste is sweet - vanilla, chocolate, brownies. Alcohol pleases your throat. Not as thick as classic NPMC, but great nonetheless.

UPDATED: NOV 15, 2017 Piwo bez wad. Aromatyczne, przepiękne w szklance i wybitne w smaku. Aromaty: mocny świeżo mielony orzech laskowy, ciasto czekoladowe, mnóstwo wanilii, syrop orzechowy w kawie.

Wspaniale piwo.
