At CBC. Poured deep dark brown with a thick beige head. Aroma of sweet berries, fudge, chocolate and marshmallows. Medium body, flavour as the aroma, moderately sweet.

At Ghent Beer Society's Beer Quiz; shared with Anke & Pieter!
Cloudy black with a small, beige head. Intense aroma of (milk) chocolate, caramel, 'praline' (filling), peanut (chocolate & butter), vanilla, some liquor. It tastes medium to heavy chocolatey and vanilla-like sweet, toned down by a light roasted bitterness. Only a bit dry and alcoholic in the spicy, almost peppery finish. Full body, oily/creamy texture, soft carbonation. Truly sensational, never encountered a bouquet like this before.

Aroma - Milk chocolate, pecans, hazelnuts, nutella. Very pleasant. Appearance - Midnight black with dark brown head. Beautiful. Taste - Roasted pecans, milk chocolate, slight hop, slighter roast, plenty of lactose, no booze burn. Palate - Dense, thick enough but still smooth. Carbonation is a slight tingle at the very end. This was excellent. If you get a chance to get this you should capitalize.

Sampled at gregwilsonstl's house. It poured a black color with a tan head. The aroma was of pecans, chocolate and some malts. The taste was similar to the aroma with more pecans, chocolate, malts and cake batter. It had medium carbonation and a nice sweet aftertaste. Really tasty.

It pours deep brown with an off treat. The aroma had graham crackers, pecan pie, brown sugar, richness and super smooth roast. It has a full rich body with soft carbonation. The taste has rich malts, pecans, brown sugar, walnuts and lush everything. Delicious.

Draft at Bootleggers. Deep dark brown with a beige head. Vanilla, roasted malt, chocolate, nuts, toffee, chocolate caramel. Such a good and well balanced beer that is perfect as a dessert beer for the people who have a sweet tooth!

bottle shared by richard, thanks man! pours unclear medium dark brown with a thin beige cap offering some retention and lacing. tons of roasted pecans coated with sweet and salty butter, milk chocolate, light earthy bitters to cut through these sugars and sugar impressions; molasses as well without any iron or metallic taste. low carbonation, medium to full body - thick; surprisingly not really sweet nutty finish. obviously in the natural and/or artificial flavours added kind of products. still fun and well executed.

Tap. Thick, oily black. Smells like chocolate, vanilla, and pecans. Tastes lke a melted chocolate pecan ice cream sundae with 2 shoys of vodka added, and a harsh, astringent finish. Artificial additive taste. Undrinkable, repugnant nonsense. These guys are the darlings of the craft beer world? Crap.

Tap at Imazato's Last Night. This dark oily black brew with the brown head smells like a chocolate sundae. Medium bodied and velvety smooth, this is 100% a dessert beer featuring rich soft chocolate... over the top but well made.
