[ As Omnipollo / Siren / David Strachan Lorelei - Barrel Aged Extra Maple ].
Unclear dark black colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coconut, maple syrup. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, coconut, chocolate, dark malt, roasted, maple syrup. Very intense both it aroma and flavor ... wow ;0). Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20170318]

Bottle. Aroma is maple, coconut, chocolate, vanilla, amazing. Taste is not as great, lots of maple and vanilla again, some dark malts, not much barrel. Still great stuff, but fresh one was probably better.

Bottle - Pours dark black. Nose is lots of coconut, bourbon, vanilla, and oak. Taste is maple syrup and coconut with notes of vanilla, oak and bourbon. It's sweet and decadent but balanced too.

Old rating from 2017. Dark color. Hugely sweet maple aroma. Taste like a good dessert.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2018 Barwa nieprzejrzyscie czarna, niesamowity lacing jak olej troche. W aromacie duzo mlecznej czekolady, pralin, likierowosci, troche mniej kokosa, kawy rozpuszczalnej i niestety sos sojowy. W smaku mocna palonosc, przelamana kokosem i deserowa czekolada. Na finiszu przyjemna arabica przelamana baaardzo delikatnie debowoscia beczkowa. Cialo bardzo degustacyjne, wysycenie srednio niskie. Bardzo przyjemny, tradycyjny i mocno palony imperial porter.

Pite dość dawno ale pamiętam jak dziś ... Fantastyczny aromat mlecznej czekolady z wanilią i alkoholowymi nutami. W smaku wspomniana czekolada, wanilia, syrop klonowy, delikatne alkoholowe łechtanie, niezwykle przyjemne. Konsystencja niemalże oleista, syropowa. Piwo słodkie - w ślepym teście trudno byłoby stwierdzić czy to imperialny stout czy porter. Genialne, jedno z dwóch najlepszych piw jakie piłem do dziś.

33 cL bottle. Black with no head. Smells of maple, toasted pecans, coconut, chocolate. Tastes much the same, but has an intense chocolate malt presence and a strong oaky finish. Pretty sweet. Alcoholic. Very tasty but very big. I only had a small pour and it's definitely a glass of dessert, but it was good.

Bottle shared at home! Sjogro does the 5K woohoo! Black with no head. Massive maple smell. Massive sweet maple, pancakes, syrup, roasted coconut, coffee, mocha, vanilla, chocolate, custard. Deep earthy with very smooth edges. Massive sweet and stereoscopic wide soft bitter notes. Lovely. Full body and soft carbonation, velvety creamy feel. Very smooth and sexy. What a treat!

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro!! Congrats with the 5000th rating bro! Pitch black with very small very dark brown head. Creamy thick roast, huge maple, vanilla, lots of toffee and fudge, light coconut, sugar, dark chocolate, thick icecream notes. Quite sweet and medium bitter. Full creamy body. Very nice!

(On tap @ MBCC 2017 Yellow Session, Copenhagen) Pours black with a small brown head. Notes are of almost ludicrously hyper-concentrated maple syrup and fudge, molasses, dark chocolate, coconut, vanilla, soft bourbon, coffee-like roast, pungent on the nose and lush on the palate, sweet but surprisingly un-cloying as it hits the tongue, with an unexpected level of drying by the finish. Ends with long lasting notes of maple, coconut, fudge, bitter coffee and oak. Full bodied and oily in the mouth, with soft carbonation and no alcohol. Phenomenal stuff, on another level from the base beer. The best Omnipollo stout I've had to date, a distillation of all the things they've got right about pastry stouts without the pitfalls.
