Tap. Amber with small head. Pretty malty IPA. Herbal with oniony hops. Not my favorite take on an IPA. ChiGuy68 (609) - Illinois, USA - JUN 20, 2014
Tasted on tap at One Barrel Brewing Company in Madison WI. It poured a clear, dark amber with a thin off white head and fairly solid lacing. Aroma was mostly alcohol. Taste was strong malt. The hop taste was missing from this IPA. An ok beer, but not for hopheads like me. WhoU (126) - Cape Town, SOUTH AFRICA - APR 6, 2014
UPDATED: DEC 26, 2015 Bottle courtesy of leugue of beers. Pours clear yellow orange with small ehite head. Aroma is light hoppy herb. Taste is slight bitter. Overall not bad from Pretoria madvike (3285) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 9, 2014
On tap at the brewpub - Pours dark amber with a thin white head. Nose is tropical fruit, mango, sweet bread--pretty dank. Taste is sweet with mango hops, onion and a savory flavor. Lots of malt and fruit. Medium carbonation and a medium body. Great stuff, especially since I don’t like the non-imperial version. I’ve been here twice and the second time I feel like they had their stuff together so much more. Very impressed.

On tap at the brewpub, pours a hazy orange with a thin head, aroma has just a touch of hops to it, nothing really stands out, the flavor has a slight hop front with a bitter finish, wanted a little more character out of it, really just or note through out, and not a good one.
