Flight pour on tap at the brewery (Madison, WI). Pours a pale stark champagne hue, subtle haze and nice glow. A loose bubbly head atop dies to a skant layer, minimal lacing. Aromas are apple and dry, some tangerine and peach. Some earth, dry apples and a bit of champagne dry yeasty life. Initial is medium bodied, a bit of tart apple, peach and tangerine meet apricot, earth and dry apples. Some pitty apricot, dry earth, and tart green apples. Dry, a bit tart and bubbly as we hit the backend. Some rich elements on the nose show a lot of apricot, tart and dry apple. Finish is a bit tart and a gentle warmth. Sopid stuff. Apricot was surprising. deyholla (11758) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 8, 2015
