12 ounce bottle from Badger Spirits in Beloit, WI, served quite cold in a Flying Fish pint glass. Pours a moderate white medium-bubbled head that decays almost completely, leaving fine lace above the clear orange body...nose is heavily citric (tangerine, lemon), lightly resinous, touches of vanilla and honey, quite pleasant...body is lightly to moderately sweet, fairly acidic and juicy, drying out somewhat towards the lightly bitter finish, some vague mineralic hints and a touch of paper...average-to-light body, somewhat fizzy carbonation, pretty reasonable for style, very quaffable. A solid rendition overall, not a competitor with the dozens of excellent pale ales available but not one to ignore either, especially if other options arent there.

Solid pale ale. Aromatic (hoppy) and poured haze free amber (from bottle). Solid taste and on point carbonation. I would buy again when in the mood for a pale ale (but to be honest I prefer IPA).

tmoreau (3910) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - AUG 14, 2015
On tap at Up North Bar in Madison, WI. during pre-GToM festivities. Shaker served and showed a fairly clear, medium gold color, with a presentable layer of soft white head foam, and wavy cling to the lacing. The nose was light malt and citrusy orange. Medium bodied, with good carbonation, the taste included a citrusy, rind-like, and earthy bitterness as the esters diminished their expression a bit in the flavor. Some dryness hooked up with the bitterness for the finish. Sessionably decent.
