Lubiere (14341) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 27, 2013
A murky amber ale with no head. In aroma, strange mix of coriander, phenolics, tropical fruits, ginger and cardamom. In mouth, a sweet candy sugar with coriander, ginger, incense, a bit of sweat. On tap at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 19 2012.

Tap at One Barrel. Unfiltered orange-brown, glowing and yeasty. Patchy, creamy white head. Very sweet and sugary, with some interesting apricot, fruity Belgian yeast tones. Not much depth or balance, but has a nice flavor. Raisin, prune, plum. Boozy, amateur production.

esjaygee (3902) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 5, 2012
On tap at One Barrel brewpub. Murky brown with next to no head. Aroma of malt, fruit, tannins, yeast and some dark fruit. Taste is very sweet and malty with dark fruit, mild tannins, light chocolate, sugar, yeast and very low hops. Hides the alcohol well.

4.1
drpimento (3866) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 23, 2013
Poured at a good temperature with a huge, foamy, cream-colored, long lasting head and lots of lace. Aroma like some other 1 bbl brews is very mild, vinous, malt, spice. Flavor’s like nose, tang is in front, then sweet with bitter fairly strong but in the back. Body/carbonation are good, alcohol warmth is heavy although strangely, as it wears on the warmth dissipates. Finish is like flavor, fairly long, no off notes and good sipping.

3.6
madvike (3308) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 30, 2012
On tap at One Barrel - Pours amber with a thin off white head. Nose is doughy as hell, with big bready malt notes and a dark fruitiness. No booziness. Taste is the same--big doughy bread with dark fruitiness. Some cherry notes, and very little hint of the 10%. Some heat going down but not much. Medium bodied...very tasty.

cbfobes (2888) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - JUL 16, 2012
On tap at the brewpub this past weekend, pours a dark brownish red with an off white head and lacing through out the glass, the aroma has a good amount of plum and dark fruit with a hint of booze, the flavor has a very nice plum and spice front end with a dark fruit finish, the mouthfeel is very nice. Extremely drinkable and smooth for being 10%, nicely done.

beerbaaron (1997) - Arizona, USA - MAR 24, 2013
Hazy dark amber. No head. Malty, fermented fruit, spices, coriander(?), toffee, dark fruit. Sugary. medium to full body. Sweet, syrupy, boozy. Easy to drink.
