Draft pours golden with a white head. Aroma of grass and malts. Taste is hay and grains. BeerInHeaven (450) - Brillion, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 12, 2017
pours a clear straw gold with a medium quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of hay/grass. Taste is light malt, clean, watery. Quick, dry finish. Not my style, but ok. balloonbuffoon (327) - - APR 19, 2017
12floz can, "0527 13.48" whatever that means (no clear freshness date present). Poured into a nonic glass. One-finger of level off white head develops on the pour. There is a slight haze to the yellow body, and the nose permeates a strong odor of cooked corn and green grass. Texture is correct, but the flavor profile possesses too much diacetyl ruining this drinking experience. My score comes out as a 2, which is what this sub-par boring beer deserves. drpimento (3640) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 24, 2017
This is pretty much just straightforward beer uninspiring and okay. Appearance’s a clear yellow, small short-lived head, no lace. Aroma and flavor are about the same: beer. Okay body and finish. Carlisle (745) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 21, 2017
Bottle. Pours cloudy gold color. Nose of grass, citrus, and yeast. Citrus upfront (oranges and grapefruit).

Nearly clear gold with a VERY tall, persistent white head.....poured in a Kolsch glass...just funnels the foam right up.
Sweet lemon, grain scent.
Creamy, grain malt, sweet lemon flavour.
A little lactic, but OK....
I prefer these to be a little sharper and not as sweet. Drake (13738) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 16, 2016
Keg at Whole Foods Wauwatosa, 9/22/16. Slightly hazy golden, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of doughy malt, toast, butter, mild floral hops. The taste is bready malt, citrus and floral hops. Medium bodied, crisp. wlajwl (6812) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - OCT 16, 2016
Aroma is pale malts, spices and mild fruit. The flavor is pale malts, fruit and and a mildly spicy hop finish. muzzlehatch (4959) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 16, 2016
Draught pint at Milwaukee Grill in Janesville, WI, October 12th. Very pale yellow-gold, not quite clear, with just a bit of lasting head...sweet aroma of honey’d lemon and apple, a bit of bready malt, no apparent hop character that I could detect...and quite sweet on the tongue as well, in fact possibly the sweetest kolsch I’ve had. It’s all lightly caramelized bready malts here with perhaps a hint of apple juice, and while it does dry out and attain a touch of bitterness at the finish, it’s not enough to save it. On the thin/watery side, moderate carbonation. Judging from other reviews, I’m wondering if I got an off pint - in fact I almost asked if the waitress was sure it was the correct beer, but they didn’t have anything else on tap that I hadn’t had, and nothing else that it could have been. Hmm. Well, I’ll probably grab a bottle sometime to compare, but this sample sure didn’t work for me. Skyview (6055) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - SEP 9, 2016
Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Riley’s Wines of the World in Madison, Wisconsin. Also sampled at various festivals and at the One Barrel brewery in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear golden pale yellow colored brew with a thick off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some excellent lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, some fruity esters, floral hops and a touch of lemon. Taste is medium bodied, fruity with golden grain malt, some passion fruit, lemon and a touch of yeast. Finish is semi-sweet and a short mild bitterness followed by a clean cut aftertaste. Drink as fresh as possible to get the Koslch style beer. After a few months of aging, more fruity esters come out.
