On tap at the brewpub - Pours amber with an off-white head. Nose is a bit of heat but smooth--real malty and bready with grass and herbal hops. Smooth, warm and malty taste, with mellow grass and herbal hops. Smooth in the mouth and well-carbonated. Everything is a bit muted from the non-iced version, but it’s still pretty tasty. cbfobes (2885) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - MAR 2, 2014
On tap at OBBC, an iced barley wine? C’mon guys, this is nuts, Pours a clear amber brown with a light brown head, the aroma is very heavy with lots of booze and tons of sweetness, which is expected, the flavor is really sweet with lots of malt and caramel with a warming of the alcohol in the finish too, iced barely wine, my god.
