COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale malts and flaked rye produce an APA that drinks darn near close to an IPA – you will be surprised at the Simcoe hop kick on this guy.

Fresh hop version on tap at the brewery. Hazy golden yellow with a decent white head and lacing. Aroma is fresh dank hops. Lots of tropical and citrus. Pine and caramel as well. Taste is juicy tropical fruit. Pineapple, mango, orange, and grapefruit. Mild pine bitterness and sweet caramel malt. Super juicy. Really nice.

Orange cloudy pour from draft at Moxee with foamy sticky head. Massive tropical fruit and pine nose - yum. Taste follows the same. Citrus and hoppy, grapefruit and pine. Fantastic beer

On tap at GTMW 2014, pours a clear amber orange with a thin white head, the aroma was super sweet for an apa and had tons of bread and caramel notes, really no hops at all, flavor was much of the same, heavy bread and malt on the front with a touch of hops in the finish, and just a small touch, meh.

Taster on tap at GTMW. Mostly hazy golden orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves decent lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Sort of slick texture. Bready malt, some orange citrus. Moderate sweet taste, minimal bitter. Kind of tangy, even. Not crazy about this pale ale. Fruity, sweet, not very bitter. More malt forward (though it is pale malt less than caramel malt)

One of my very favorite APA’s from one of my very favorite breweries. I’ve had this numerous times on draft at the brewery itself. If I was limited to one word to describe this beer, it would most definitely be "refreshing". This is a beer with a great ABV and hop profile, but doesn’t get too aggressive on the tongue and is easy to plow through. Like many of the beers at the brewery, it’s far too easy to feel a strong buzz after a couple of these.

Draft. Orange malt and orange peel aroma. Hazy yellow with small head. Sweet orange malt and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Solid, standard APA.

I noticed they were stingy on the hopps and this beer was just below so-so. I do not think this beer compares with other American pale ales on the market. I truly felt this beer tasted flat and watered down. It did not have that kick. I felt the hopps were of mediocre quality and quantity. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A bit of off lfavor in this one but behind that is a ncie citrusy apa that you could down many pints of, and here a pint means like 20oz, good deal.
