Tessic's rating

2.7
Tessic (1146) - Brantford, Ontario, - DEC 29, 2013
This lager poured a clear yellow colour with a bright white, foamy head. Scents include corn, a hair salon, cooked veggies? First swig was a little on the weak/thin side with flavours of corn, bread and light malt. Finish is mild with flavours of corn and malt lingering.

Dark gold pour, thin white head. Aroma is floral. Medium bodied and crisp with medium bitterness. Balanced.

Draft - Caramel malts. Clear gold with a decent white head. Caramel and a touch of bitterness. Likely this was mixed up with the other 100.

[6295-20140502] Can. Floral yeasty straw aroma. Clear, pale orange body with a quick foamy white head. Lightly bittered floral straw flavour. Medium body. Average. (6/3/6/3/13) 3.1

DuffMan (10267) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 21, 2014
Can. Pale gold, lasting white head. Sweet pale grains with a dash of hop character that is hard for me to nail down... Celery maybe? Not quite, but definitely in that "greenish" area. Not bad, but not dry enough for my tastes.

Dark gold, small to no head. Weird musty malt aroma, wet paper, some apples. Mouth feel is watery, and the carb is almost flat. The finish is sweet, and wet grass, with more of that musty apple.

473 ml can from the LCBO. Pours a golden colour with medium white head that quickly disappears. Aroma is spices, floral hops. Taste is malt, spices. Pretty decent lager.

Pours gold with a moderate white top. Aroma is cereal grains and small hop. Taste is cereal malts with a small bit of caramel and a low hop profile.

[Can (473ml) shared with GregClow, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o j&m] Pours a slightly hazy gold with a small lasting white head. Aroma of grass, peas and caramel malt. Flavour of grassy hops and grain along with an average bitter finish. More hops then expected. Average bodied. An O.K. Lager, I’d drink it if offered but I wouldn’t buy it.

3.2
DerWeg (1678) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 11, 2014
Goody pour with white cap. Straw and lemon nose and taste, fruit and sweet malt follow. This can was layered in fridge for 7 weeks. Not bad in a German way plus the lemony flair of the hops.
