Zippy and sunny are sadly the best descriptions of this beer. The aroma is citrus with an odd hint of burn toast. A hazy pale golden pour. Very, very light tasting beer, with a sweetness at the beginning and a citrus finish. Overall, pretty boring.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2010 Bottle from Festival Foods. Pours a hazy orange-gold color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, sweet spices and malt. Light body with flavors of bready malt, coriander, citrus and mild hops. The finish is fruity with a sweetly spiced aftertaste. Decent beer overall.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is almsot nothing. Some malt and grain i guess. Flavor is a little better. Starts out with a dull malt then a bit of citrus hits you. Very light but easy to drink.

It smells like something, that’s for sure. I’m not sure exactly what it smells like, but it’s not beer. Is it burnt cookies? Yep, smells like burnt cookies with too much Pam.

bottle. bready, malty orange zest. herbal orange lemonade note. slight metalix hint. okay, not great.

nsquishee (641) - Richfield, Minnesota, USA - JUN 18, 2010
Sweet aroma. Light yellow/orange, barely cloudy. Very smooth, but crisp texture. Tastes of sweet malts, with a bit of honey and orange. Not a typical blonde ale. Easy to drink, but not as exciting as other beers. Doesn’t match Blue Moon, Honey Weiss, etc.

aroma is extremely unpleasant rotted cabbage and bigger corn then most malt liquors. appearance is super pale polished straw. flavor is somehow at least neutral despite horrid aroma, mostly lighter and barely tolerable corn with metallic element as well. big disappointment from a brewery i enjoy. if i was more sure this was infected i would not rate it, however i think the beer is actually intact but just poor.

12oz bottle. Poured a clear golden color with a thin white head. Smelled of white cake and light citrusy hops. A bit lemony. Light bodied and delicately sweet, bordering on watery. Tasted of lemon Pez candy and pale malt. Very easy drinking sessioner. Not terrible.

The Dan Journal #330. Tasted 3/16/10. 12oz bottle. Mildly hazy with a golden orange hue. Whispy layer of white head. Aromas of musty bready yeast. Somewhat obtrusive nose. Medium bodied and, once again, very bready flavors. Mild citrus backbone. Touch orange and caramel malts. Mild effervescence. Short finish. Mildly chalky. Overall mediocre.

Jabswitch (278) - Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 11, 2009
Poured with rapidly disappearing head. Pee yellow. Low carbonation and rather watery looking. Citrusy aroma and rather bland taste. This would be a post-lawn mowing brew as a thirst quencher but I am disappointed that I bought a 6 pack of this without trying a single first.
