This beer hit its mark for being a summer beer with hints of fruit and a wheat tone. I enjoyed it sitting on my deck during a nice summer evening. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 25, 2015
Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with white head. Light fruits and a little spice with some wheat on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a good mouthfeel, and lingering wheat and light fruit notes. theisti (4203) - Kansas, USA - SEP 18, 2009
12 oz bottle sent to me by alagnak. Pour is a cloudy yellow with a bright white one inch head that falls quick. Not too much lacing. Aroma of grainy cracker malt and orange fruit. Some nice yeasty, mild clove spice in there as well. A touch of flint and mineral present as well. Nice full clean nose. Taste is sharp acidic citrus (much more orange or lemon peel than the fruit of the nose) out of the gate, with some clove spice and then the cracker grainy malt. Like the nose, natural and fresh - very unfiltered taste. Palate is full, yet light and drinkable with nice carbonation. Finish features the mineral earthiness from the nose. Nice one, thanks for thinking of me Chris - this was right up my alley. holdenn (2127) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 5, 2012
On tap at The Old Fashioned, Madison, WI. This beer is getting some low hits, but maybe people are thinking of this as more a blond and feeling disappointed. Or maybe this tastes way better on tap. I didn’t know what this was, but I assumed it was a Kolsch. Hazy yellow with a thin white head. Some hay and earthy hop notes in the aroma. Crisp malt and hop flavors. Some hay earthy malts that are layered with herbal and lemony hops. There is a touch of tanginess that balances it all out. So drinkable, I’d easily pound a half liter of this stuff on a hot summer day. Tasty. HodagADV (3) - appleton, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 29, 2008 does not count

Draft at the OF, served in an icy pint glass. Hazy tan-orange color with a big, foamy head. Light and fresh lemony aroma and taste. Smooth and watery, somewhere between light and medium bodied. Some vanilla nuances in there as well. No real hop character to speak of. Light malt sweetness, light orange zest. Dogbrick (13751) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 12, 2010
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2010 Bottle from Festival Foods. Pours a hazy orange-gold color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, sweet spices and malt. Light body with flavors of bready malt, coriander, citrus and mild hops. The finish is fruity with a sweetly spiced aftertaste. Decent beer overall. Pours a yellowish amber color with a decent amount of carbonation to it. Has scents of summer wheat and citrus fruits. Drinks rather lightly but with a decent amount of flavor to it. Wheat and orange hints are the most obvious. Definitely a good summer beer that has a better taste to it that the standard Miller or Budweiser choice. Not anything fancy but something new to try.
