Nose is malt, light fruit, touch vegetal.
Taste comprises dark malts, toffee, brown sugars.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitterness in the finish.

This politely fruity and nutty Brown Ale satisfies with its healthy body and quenching potential, but its cleanliness and servility will not make it memorable to me.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the hazy reddish brown.
-Low hopping in the finish barely offers supporting bitterness.
-The maltiness is not nutty enough for my tastes in the style.
-Earthy toastiness is contributed by the malts as well.

Growlered sample purchased at Table and Vine in Northampton. Pours a deep reddish brown with a generous, powdery, retained head. Smells of biscuits, nutty malt, light peppery hops and some doughy yeast. Tastes peppery with some nice spicy elements. As the beer warms, some subtle cocoa and more of those nice peppery hops pop up. A well represented sample of a misunderstood style. Their session ales seem to be a step ahead of most other brewpubs.

Draught @ Opa-Opa. This one pours a dark brow, yet is still clear and can be seen through. There was a small tan head that left minimal lacing. It has a lighter aroma. Some nuttiness, a hint of smoke, roasted malt and caramel. The taste is good and very similar. Nutty with just a hint of roastiness.
