Keg at Prague Beer Museum. Pours Brown with a tan head. Aroma and flavour are overwhelmingly of cocoa/drinking chocolate. It’s too sweet and artificial for my liking. Sink job.

Barwa ciemna, piana beżowa, sztywna, gęsta, oblepia szkło do końca, W aromacie nuty palone, czekoladowe, kawowe. W smaku nie jest takie słodkie, raczej ma charakter wytrawnego ciemnego piwa. Nuty czekoladowe, kawowe, palone, jest również wytrawa goryczka.

On tap. Hazy dark brown colour with medium lasting creamy off-white head. Aroma: Dark chocolate, caramel. Taste: Sweet malty feel with chocolate taste. Not too strong and a bit watery. Light bitter mouthfeel. Creamy texture. Light/medium body with averge carbonation. Short sweet finish.

500ml bottle. Very nice dark-chocolate smell, and very dark brown colour describe it. Big, long lasting foam. Taste is quite simple, dark-choco and a little malty sweetness, some hoppy bitterness at the end. Almost watery for the intensive smell and for strong choco taste.

Bottle 50cl, a brown beer with good off white head and retention. Nose is very nice on ark chocolate and chocolate beans. Aroma is on biscuit, dark chocolate, body is a bit low, metallic hints, less interesting than the nose unfortunately but a good try. Could be nice with more body.

Bottled. (backlog, thanks Kim N.). Close to black colour, mediumsized creamy beige head. Aroma is artificial chocolate, some cocoa, mild bready and grainy notes along with some slight toasted notes. Flavour is artificial chocolate, some cocoa, mild toffee and a bit ripe fruitiness. Could be good, but the kind of artificial chocolate is a bit disturbing.

Tap at the Prague Beer Museum at Náměstí Míru Prague. Poured a dark mahogany with a frothy off white head. The aroma is big huge cocoa. The flavour is medium bitter light sweet with a smooth cocoa hop bitter light spice palate and a very short light bitter sweet finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Totally unexpected. I thought id be tasting something sweet and sickly. How wrong I was.

On bottle .. interesting beer. Amazing cocoa/mile chocolate aroma but the taste is more of a lager with some chocolate flavor ... overall OK, but hoped for more after the first smell ...
