(plastic bottle, 100cl, as Opat Bitter Kvasničák, 4.0% abv) Hazy, pale golden colour with a big and blond foamy head. Yeasty, slightly milky malty aroma with grassy and slightly herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light bodied with a prickly carbonation. Slim but not watery malty base with yeasty and grassy hoppy spice; quite dry and bitter hoppy and yeasty finish, again with some grassy accents. For the summer time. 06.IX.12
Aroma: a lot of malt aromas and some floral aromas which comes from hops. Good in style, but hops should be more emphasize.
Apperance: pale, clear with better than average white head.
Taste: average bitter, bitternes is only a little bit higher than a standard euro lager. Also taste is a little bit flat, here should be much better.
Palate: medium body and moderate carbonation make this beer good to refreshing but nothing special, nothing to remeber, just drink and go for another - better one. Finish to long,
Overall: "premium" euro lager. Expect more. k0mpsa (3041) - Tuusula, FINLAND - AUG 7, 2015
Tap at klub malych pivovarsky, plzen. Clear golden color, white head. Aroma has mainly malts, some hops and smooth creamy notes. Crispy but balanced body, nice dry end. Malty but smooth. pivoveskotsku (201) - SCOTLAND - JUN 27, 2012

on tap at klub malych pivovaru. probably the best, certainly the most drinkable of opat’s offerings. pale golden with only the faintest haze and a thin white head; aroma of ice and nutgrass; surprising depth of bitterness in a long, dry finish

1l PETka from Pivoteka Zly Casy. Hazy golden colour, immense resiny hop aroma. Medeium-bodied, shy malty base in the background making way for these incredible hops. Spicy, peppery and resiny with a herbal touch. Perfectly balanced - a real delight. Grzesiek79 (4381) - Radom, POLAND - MAR 21, 2012
