Holmen2 (3916) - NORWAY - FEB 7, 2015
Shared bottle at RB/HD 07.02.15. Black. Dark beige head. Strong aroma of prunes and almond essence. Similar taste. Rather waterish mouthfeel.

Sigmund (7826) - Tau, NORWAY - FEB 7, 2015
Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting. Brown colour, moderate off-white head. Strong aroma of prunes, almond essence and marzipan. The flavour is better than the aroma, and not as sweet as I feared, but still with notes of prunes and marzipan. Not too bad.

gunnar (9438) - Sandnes, NORWAY - FEB 7, 2015
Shared bottle at local tasting. Pours very dark brown with a small creamy beige head. Aroma of malt and prunes. Taste is thin and watery, moderate sweet, strange one.

abemorsten (3652) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - FEB 7, 2015
Shared bottle at RBHD Bjørnøy February 2015. Clear coca cola colored body with a light brown film. Marzipan and prune on the nose and in the mouth. Thin and watery mouth.

Flaske på rbhd-samling feb-15, til kaffe og sviske/daddelkaken: mørkebrun med beige storboblet skum. Lukter og smaker som utvannet sviskesaft. Jeg tar heller et ekstra kakestykke.

500ml bottle - Thanks Mari & Marduk
Sweet almondy aroma, which leads me to cherry. Starchy too. Dark red, sticky tan head. Metallic, ashy, more cherry than plum. Burntness harsh and ashy, nasty in the mouth. Do I get ginger in the finish? Can fight my way through this, but it’s really not good.

Marduk (8218) - Reval, ESTONIA - JAN 16, 2015
500ml bottle (thanks Mari & Kalm). Very dark brown color. Medium size, brown head, stays. Nice plums, juicy, sweet, chocolate in aroma. Watery roast, chocolate, plum washing water in taste. Watery. Smells better than tastes. Plum skins in aftertaste.

Lore (2866) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 17, 2014
dark brown colour, half inch creamy beige head; aroma of a bit exaggerated plum, maybe some marzipan and some minimal roasted notes; taste of a typical tmavy with some moderate plum notes - really good fruit beer, nothing artificial, nothing sweetener

22/X/13 - 50cl bottle @ home - BB: 31/VII/13 (2013-992) Thanks to Marie for the bottle!

Clear very dark brown beer, aery big irregular beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of caramel, dried fruits, plum juice, overripe fruits, banana. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sweet start, caramel, fruity, lots of plums of course, candy, some mocha, not as sweet as I had feared though. Aftertaste: plums, some vanilla, bit sweet, candy, little bitter.
