Clear golden colour with thick fluffy head. Aroma has lots of floral and citrus notes. The taste is just like a lemon cheesecake. Sweet but with bitter citrus peel.

Bottle bought in Porto 06/2017. BB Jan 2018. Temperature of beer 30C due to heat wave. Pours golden, clear, with durable head. Beautiful, too bad to have to destroy by imbibing. Aroma orange, mango, very smooth and pleasant. Taste: moderate bitterness, grapefruit, fairly sweet, most likely due to the high temperature. Tasty. Bitterness lingers to mouthdrying sensation. Medium body. This is an excellent ale at >30C, how would it taste at temperature? Try it if you have the opportunity.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 29A/18B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown (BBF JAN.18). AROMA: moderate sweet orange-like aroma, followed by very faint oxidation notes. neutral background. APPEARANCE: gold color and clear. medium ivory head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with a sweet orange-like flavor. neutral malt background. high bitterness with a dry and very bitter finish that endures. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: altough the aroma/flavor tends to be similar to grapefruit, its sweet character gives it an artificial sensation.

rouhlas (4018) - Thessaloniki, GREECE - OCT 24, 2016
From tap at Catraio, Porto. Almost clear dark golden color with off white head. Hoppy and malty aroma, caramel, quite fruity, stone and tropical fruits, floral, spicy, perfume. Sweet and light bitter like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
