COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

330ml bottle (Sip, Tallinn) (7:4:7:4:13+=3.5+)

Rich malty aroma, quite savoury. Dark, brownish, brief tight tan head. Even more savoury taste, liquoricey, but sweet malty roast too, some burnt almost ashy aspects. Full palate, but a little dead due to sweetness, carbonation can’t cut through that, it just acts as a separate fizz. Nice dry bitterness, drying and resiny. Alcohol is reasonably well hidden.

Bottle thanks tomColin. It pours deep mahogany brown with a decent light tan head. The nose is sweet, dark fruits, fruit cake, candy, wood, earth, must and dirt. The taste is toasty, earth, wood, dried fruits, mild acidity, alcohol, berry and candy with a dry finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Not to bad at all.

[enjoyed for the final game of the Premiership 2010/2011]

Pours deep chestnut with some lovely ruby teints. Medium, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma has lovely complex caramel, toasted, chestnuts, hazel, esters, plums, raisins, vinious, darkish chocolate. Low carbonation, extremely fat and creamy mouthfeel. Nice, elegant flavour with Belgian sugar, caramel, hazelnuts, raisin, figs, chewy chocolate. Very lovely beer actually.
