Bottle. Very dark brown with a modest but fine beige head that laces well. Aroma of leather, prunes, raisins, figs, licorice, chocolate. Rich, sweet and boozy with dried fruit, dark caramel, only a little chocolate, licorice/ anise. Dries out a little at the end, more than enough to avoid being cloying. Slightly syrupy with enough carbonation to lighten it. Good.

Rich malty aroma, quite savoury. Dark, brownish, brief tight tan head. Even more savoury taste, liquoricey, but sweet malty roast too, some burnt almost ashy aspects. Full palate, but a little dead due to sweetness, carbonation can’t cut through that, it just acts as a separate fizz. Nice dry bitterness, drying and resiny. Alcohol is reasonably well hidden.
330ml bottle (thanks FatPhil). Slightly hazy brown color. Tiny size, beige head, stays. Husky, grainy, bit sourish and yeasty in aroma. Sweet, roast, marshmallows, caramel, toffee and honey in taste. Aroma is malt, yeast. Brown beer with very little beige head. First taste is a bit sour like cherry. Then sweetness of caramel and malt arrives. Some bitterness at the end. Not a bad beer. UPDATED: FEB 27, 2017 Birra dal color marrone scuro. Schiuma color caffellatte cremosa e persistente. All?olfatto sentori di banana, frutta secca e prugna. Al palato è ben strutturata, con note di uvetta, frutta secca, prugna, caramello con un retrogusto di malto tostato. Nel finale rimane lievemente amara. Colore marrone/scura con schiuma beige a grana Aroma fine.lieviti che danno il fruttato..caffé e liquirizia e dolce del malto nell’aroma..mirra ..al gusto risulta un piacevole equilibrio tra caffé e liquirizia,con il malto a dare il tocco di dolcezza in piú..facile bevuta per essere dieci gradi.Calore dell’alcool si sente nel finale ben equilibrato retrogusto lungo e persistente.
