COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: more hopped than the standard (85 against 55 IBU), different hops from the original, and bottled with fresh hop, creating a sort of dry hopping in the bottle.

The Silver Foil (Luppolo Fresco) is the Special Edition dry hopped with Simcoe.

At Zwanze Day 2014 (Moeder Lambic Fontainas). THX everyone for sharing today’s beers. APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small unstable white head. NOSE: hoppy, bitter, nice, fruity. TASTE: hoppy, bitter, nice, fruity, florar, little dry aftertaste.

JorisPPattyn (10061) - BELGIUM - SEP 21, 2014
Draught Very good, lightly off-white head, dense, over veiled orange amber beer. Dry, herbal nose. Garden herbs, carrots. Bitter-spicy-vegetable with some outspoken yeasty notes. Finish is liqueurish, as an artichoke liqueur, with a long-lasting bitterish-spicy aftertaste. Medium bodied, Spritzy feel but ending dry. Wants to be too much Triple (BE) to be 100% convincing.

Esteticamente di un ambrato spento, lievemente torbida,. Aroma luppolato con tocchi di agrumi e fiori. Al palato è eccellente con un corpo medio. Complimenti veramente un’ IPA sopra la media.

Pyobon (1449) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - DEC 25, 2013
(Bottle) Cloudy mid brown with off-white head. Aroma has pleasant yeasty esters, pepper, alcohol and hints of sweet fruitiness. Full bodies, creamy velvety with some stickiness. Interesting and unusual flavor profile. It starts characteristic if a string Belgian beer and finishes with some noticeable hoppy bitterness - guess that the Triple + IPA. The foretaste has caramel sweetness and stone fruit. Peppery spice develops and then some rather harsh bitterness leads into a long finish. The alcohol is not apparent in the taste. This is an interesting combination of styles, and quite enjoyable; however the hops are a little harsh.

Draft @ Moeder Lambic Italian Beerfest ’13.

UPDATED: JUN 3, 2013 Sampled draft @ CML Italian Beer Festival 2013. Thx! to Sebletitje. Slightly hazy amber orange with a patchy white head. Smell is sweet caramel, slightly fruity, thick malts, touch booze,… Taste is dominated by sticky & sweet malt syrup, caramel malts, bitter malts, syrupy malts lead into some floral notes, huge candy sugar, light white grapes, herbal bitter in the finish,… Sticky, slightly oily,… I originally thought that this was supposed to be an IIIPA - I was wrong because according to the brewer - triplipa is a cross between the styles and triple and ipa (not a 3 ipa) That the beer was still quite young. My bad - thx! for the info. These guys really seem to care about what they are doing. Cheers to them.

Pours dark amber with a large, lasting head. Sweet malty aroma, lots of clean malt and confectionery notes. Also some spicy hops and phenols. Aggressive flavours, lots of hops and booze. Heaps of piny, spicy hops and an aggressive bitterness in the finish. Too much booze. Body feels very thick.

Mortlach (2435) - Rome, ITALY - MAR 13, 2012
