COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Citrus and yeast like a perfect tripel, golden with a thin white head very persistant, medium body, medium carbonation, more hoppy in the taste...very balanced and good interpretation..

Golden body, creamy white head. Sugar, candied fruits in the nose balanced by a hoppy floral touch. Taste is more or less what you would expect - somewhere between a hoppy tripel and an imperial IPA. Belgian character evident up front before the hops kick in for a bitter finish. Good balance and mouthfeel. A successful hybrid.

Keg at Bir & Fud, Roma, 23/09/16. Golden orange with a decent off White head. Nose is candied fruits, orange peel, light yeast tones, faint hop bill, floral pinch. Taste comprises sweet malts, caramel, candied orange peel, perfume, candyfloss, faint spice. Medium + body, fine carbonation, light warming alcohol in the close. Solid for style, the hop interplay prevents this beer from becoming too sweet.

Finale erbaceo e amaro lungo. Una bella tripel vestita da Ipa.

Cloudy amber, thick offwhite head. Aroma has light caramel, yeast and fruit, pears perhaps. Malty, fruity flavour, some glue and spice. Pretty decent.

from Edelweiss bar in Alba Adriatica - pretty clear dark golden-bronze beer with a persistent little foam; light estery, caramel ans fruity hops (quince, apple); light sticky, full-bodied and with a subtle carbonation; some sweetness; finishes velvety, bitter and fruity with some residual sweetness and light spicy tones - a nice hybrid, delicate and full of character at the same time

Bottle from Eataly in Rome. An interpretation of a Caravaggio on the label and cap, nice touch. Pours a beautiful, hazy golden colour with a rather big, bubbly / soapy off-white head that drops to an uneven layer, and leaves a bit of lace. A lovely, fragrant aroma, a mixture of Belgian yeast (bubblegum, watermelon), and unfortunately rather unpronounced hops giving off yellow fruits (peaches, pears), and Im afraid theres some alcohol detectable too. Tastes very yeasty, peachy, peary, with more alcohol than id like from a 7.8% ABV beer. Not nearly as bitter as Id have expected, and finally when the bitterness settles in, its boring and herbal. Thin, active carbonation. Somewhat grainy, dryish, alcoholic and thin finish, yet overall the mouthfeel is nice and soft. An interesting take on a hybrid style, but it doesnt cut it for me. The Belgian-ness suffocates the IPA. Im kinda surprised that its rated this high...
