COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Medium amber body that is absolutely clear. Off-white and rather creamy head that stays large for quite some time before reducing to a fully lasting layer that laces the glass well. A very strong and extremely hoppy aroma, this is almost like smelling hop pellets! Lots of sweet fruits and berries, quite much tropical fruits like ripe peach, mango and citrus, also strawberries. An almost soapy perfume like feel in the back. For once the sweetness of the aroma is there in the taste as well, the moderate sweetness is as dominating as the moderate bitterness. I guess I’m trying to say that this is very well balanced, although I might imagine that some will find this too sweet. Quite strong flavours with lots of fruits, the citric notes are the most obvious. Even stronger than the fruits are resin, grass and… well… hops. Backing up this hop soup is a firm sweet caramel flavour. The beer feels smooth, almost oily on the palate, it’s medium bodied (I guess all the sweetness makes this APA feel fuller than many other of its kind) and has a soft to medium carbonation. A very nice and unusually hoppy beer without being particularly bitter. The hops have mainly been used for late and dry hopping in this one, I presume.

Golden colour with white foamy head. Nice aroma of the amarillo hops, some citrus and grass. Lots of hops in taste with a distinct hop bitterness. Also a hint of caramell.

Bottle thnx to LoFi! Cheers buddy! Pours a clear amber colour with a small, white head on top. Aroma is full of hops and has fruity notes. Grapefruit, fresh grass and even a bit of yeast detected. Flavour has a lot bitterness from the hops, yet very refreshing and easy drinkable because of medium carbonization. Very decent, well balanced pale ale..

330ml bottle. Pours out copper with a lasting white head. Aroma is a nice mixture of green apples, fresh hay, pine and floral hints. Hangs together superbly on the tongue with a slight sweetness and medium bitterness. I really like this beer. It might not be a rollercoaster ride for the senses but it’s clean, classy and goes down super easily. Wish it was easier to acquire.

Bottle shared at The Kernel, London one Saturday. Pours a perfectly clear gold with a big, fluffy, off-white head. Light toasty malts nose with some tangy grapefruit and pine. Medium sweet flavor with lots of tangy citrus, some lime, toasty bread, toasty pine. Medium bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. Mildly resinous finish with nice and juicy citrus, light grapefruit, toasty pale malts and toasted sugar. It’s a nice, very smooth drinker.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2012 Lovely smell of citrus, tropical fruits and some spices. After tasting I’m not disapointed. Lot like the smell wirh a long, nice bitter aftertaste. Easy to drink, but also very enjoyable. Recommended.
