UPDATED: AUG 10, 2011 Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours a beautiful golden honey with a large fluffy off-white head. Flavour is just bursting with all variations of fruit, topped off with some pine on an underlying layer of lightly sweet cookies. Nice bitterness that stays around for a while. Extremely drinkable! pilsnerrogge (2935) - Finspång, SWEDEN - AUG 7, 2011

Orangey amber colour with a slight haze. Thick head. Aroma is sweaty lychees, cat’s pee, peaches and ripe fruit. Flavour is ripe, sweet fruit, peaches, fresh wood, nuts and some toffee. Massive and long bitterness. Flavourful yet balanced. Really, really good!
Kan inte får nog. Den bästa svenska DIPA:n. Mycket citrus och passionsfrukt. Frisk, humlig och syrlig. Välbalanserd med bra beska. Fantastisk. Koyo (251) - SWEDEN - AUG 2, 2011
Bottle from Systembolaget, Stockholm, Sweden. Aroma is rich, one of the most intense I have ever experienced, filled with pine and tropical fruits, loads of it. Pours a quite clear, almost orange colour with a thick white foam. Taste is amazing, there is so much flavour in this beer, loads of bitterness but balanced by a huge malt body, perfect balance. Full bodied, thick and almost oily with average carbonation, long bitter finish. I feel a bit sad that this beer isn’t one of Oppigård’s standard brews, considering it’s their best. Ljunkan (530) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - SEP 3, 2011
Hazy orange color with a compact white head which slowly fades away and leaves some lacing on the glass.
Aroma of exotic fruits like mango, pineapple, starfruit, peach, passion fruit, tangerine, and grapefruit. Behind the hops there’s some bready malt with a touch of caramel.
Flavour of mango, pineapple and passion fruit which leads to strong grapefruity bitterness which is lightly balanced buy the cookie-like malt and caramel. Pine needles and resin can also be found.
Fullbodied with soft to average carbonation. Damn nice! Alf_Bigfoot (13) - Solna, SWEDEN - FEB 14, 2012
Bottle 33cl. When I first tried this one (Batch nr1) I thought to myself - "I’ve got to buy more bottles of this one!". This is propably the best beer I drank all year 2011! Filled with Hops, Citrus and pleny of Passion(fruit). This is truly an Once in a lifetime experience.
Rumours claims that Oppigårds ar planning a DIPA of their own for 2012, in the same spirit as Drakens. Marsiblursi (3076) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 19, 2011
(Bottle) Pours hazy dark orange with an off-white head. The aroma is fantastic – really tropical and dank with tones of passion fruit, mango, canned peaches, strawberry jam, cat box, lychee, black currant leaves/tea, sweet citrus (tangerines and sweet pink grapefruit), white flowers and pine soap. Perfect balanced malt with notes of toast, bread, caramel and maybe some cookies. Hints of cinnamon buns, dough and cucumber. The nose has everything I desire in a DIPA. The flavor is light sweet, near heavily bitter and light acidic. Boat loads of citrus, tropical fruits, pine, resin and herbs. Stable malt backbone. The mouthfeel is round and fairly soft but the finish is almost tart from the brutal hoppiness. Light carbonation. Spicy grapefruit, woodsy resin and light tropical fruits linger in the finish. Medium to full bodied. A fantastic DIPA! _angst_ (4802) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 4, 2011
Bottle bought at Systembolaget on August 3. Consumed the same day. Pours a hazy orange liquid. Smell is an intense fruit salad filled with mango, pineapple and grape. Taste is bitter with a well rounded sweetness with clear notes of tropical fruit. A very good IIPA and one of the best Swedish beers I’ve tasted so far.
