Nice rich sweet, floral and slightly metallic hop aroma with hints of caramel and fruit. Malt taste with big hop flavors, caramel notes and a fruity citrus aroma. The aftertaste is dry and slightly bitter. A good beer!

Dark amber, little hazy, small white head. Caramel and malt aroma. Malt sweetness apparent in the taste, some bread and sufficient bitterness. Good easter beer, but wasn’t it better last year?

UPDATED: APR 2, 2014 Bottle from Systembolaget. Clear dark amber/red with a small white head, some fruity with some caramel and malt. Taste is quite bready with a bitter finish together with some hops. The bitterness lingers together with some citrusy hops. Medium body, overall a very good beer. Original rating 7-4-7-4-15=37

pours amber with medium sized thick head aromas are somewhat present and I can sense some citrusy fruits, caramel malts, bread palate is small bodied, some bitterness in the end, overall a quite easy drinkable and quite enjoyable beer. will work nice over easter dinner but its a bit too lame for my taste

500 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours clear dark amber with a small off-white head that quickly dissipates while leaving some lacing on the glass. Smell is malty sweet, tiny bitter and rather subtle with orange zest, caramel, juniper berries, wood and hints of plums. Taste is slightly sweet and quite bitter with wood, wet earth, toffee, orange peal, sweet bread, grass and hints of sweet fruits. Mouthfeel is round and thin to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, bitter and slightly dry with earth hops, bread and toffee.

Torkad frukt och toffee anar receptorerna. Lagom kropp. Ganska lång eftersmak. Trevlig beska. Slutsats: God men säkerligen vassare till påskgrubbet.

Det här var en av de bästa påskölen som jag druckit på senare tid. Fylligt, kraftigt men samtidigt välbalanserat.

Purchased at systembolaget in Goteborg sometime in the middle of April, 2011. Overall, this is a very robust ale, with good body and lots of flavor that definitely favored the hoppy side. Pours with a deep, dark amber color and a medium-sized off-white head. The lacing is very dense and sticky: the appearance is excellent. The aroma is reminiscent of pine, fruits (plums perhaps), and a hint of caramel. The mouth feel is somewhat creamy. The is taste is relatively complex: a bit herbal and fruity in the start, with a distinct bitterness in the finish that lingers on for a bit too long. A very good ale and one that I would buy again.
