A gift from visitors to the store. Thanks! Sweet malty aromas. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Caramel, cereal, and nutty flavors with a nice hop balance. Overall an excellent English Strong Ale.

Bottle
Dark brown, medium head with good lacing. First impresion is loads of flowery hops. That developes into a more sweet maltiness with some tannies and coffee notes.Full bodied with some coffee like bitterness for finish. Unusual Swedish easter beer. Reminds me of an English strong ale from a micro wanting to be American. Somewhat unbalanced though. Needs a bit more sweetness. Smother as a real ale, I would like to hope :-)

Brown and fragrant. small head. Rough bitter taste with lots of maltiness and hops. Hints of yeast, figs and prunes. Didn’t go well with the pasta dish I tried it first with, but was excellent on its own. Sparsely carbonated. Puts a golden frame to the moment.

On tap at Nya Tröls. Primarily caramelly with a hint of hoppiness, not one of their best.

Orange with thin beige head.
Fruity aroma with notes of pineapple, some malt and caster sugar. A bit roasted.
Sweet an malty flavour with growing bitterness.

500ml brown bottle with an Easter themed label with ha rooster. Appearance is clear amber with a medium sized frothy beige head, that settled down quickly, leaving a little lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon peels, dried apricots and caramel. Flavours of grapefruit, dried apricots, caramel, honey and a hint of spices. Taste is light-medium sweet and medium-heavy bitter. Palate is medium bodied, oily texture and average carbonation. Oppigårds Easter Ale is too hopped and citrusy to par well with the food in a typical Swedish Easter dinner. Overall a good beer, but I would not have associated it with Easter.

A clear bright red beer with a fluffy, quickly settling white head. Nose has a dry dusty attic style aroma with some mild herbal hop aromas. Taste is sweet with a fairly heavy bitterness to balance against it. Soft carbonation and rich palate. A decent, albeit somewhat dull beer.

bottle 500ml from Alko 3.29€ copper chilled tangy hops attack at first almost irritating way expecting some other flavors from Easter beer. Second bottle room temperature gives malty body fudge no attack of tangy hops at all. Tasty beer but not what I am looking for Easter beer.
