Amber/mahogany color, offwhite head. Vert nice fruity and hoppy aroma, tropical fruits, grassy and with some floral notes. Hoppy grassy, metallic flavor, perfume notes, some fruit, but not as much as in the very balanced aroma. Grassy metallic finish.

TBone (17524) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 30, 2006
Bottled (BB 07/2006). Red ruby brown, nice creamy beige head, lace. Chocolaty, toasted malty aroma - very strong nose. Toasted malty, chocolaty flavor, which finishes to hoppy bitterness. Some caramelly notes. Roasted aftertaste.

yngwie (17049) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 6, 2007
Bottle. Clear, chestnut body with a beige head. It has malt, hops and some spicyness in the aroma. In the mouth it is a bit soapy, medium fullness, and flavors of malt, some spices, nuts and hops. Spiced and hoppy finish as well. The beer is quite good, yet not my cup of tea. (070427)

FatPhil (16102) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 23, 2009
500ml bottle (Alko, Helsinki)
Rich red, small head. Lovely fruity and fresh hoppy aroma, sweet caramel too, really jumps out of the glass. Pleasant carbonation, lively in the mouth. Sweet grainy body, but tons of crisp fresh sweet hops, even a little gingery in places. Finish is sticky both in a sugary and a resiny way, and that’s not a problem at all. Very worthy of the title ’English Strong Ale’ - this could give most ESAs a run for their money. Full of flavour, but a really tasty quaff.

MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - AUG 12, 2008
Bottle, 5.3%. Weak hop and yeast aroma. Hazy chestnut colour. Small tan ead. The flavour is light, but OK. Citric hops with a little yeast.

Rune (12730) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAY 8, 2012
500ml bottle shared with Finn. Golden-brown body, beige frothy head. Earthy malts and dusty hops to the nose. Half-sweet malts in flavour with hints of herbal hops. Dark bitter endnotes. Quite alright (Tromsø, 01.05.2012).
