Pours brownish red with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has sweet caramel, light cardboard, good hops. Some piney notes. Medium carbonation, fine dryish mouthfeel. Flavour is quite hoppy, balanced well on a chewy caramel malts background. Piney, some slight fruitiness. Elegant, hoppy and well-balanced beer.
500 ml bottle. Finland (HHOK).
Copper colour with foamy off-white head.
Sweetish hoppy and malty aroma. Flavour is first sweetish with some dried fruits. Flavour ends with dry bitterness. gnoff (10859) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 22, 2006

Pours murky copper color with a medium head. Aroma of spices, caramel malts and ripe fruits, some wood too. Flavor of caramel, toffee, malts, fruits and hints of spices, some cardboard notes on the finish.
Chestnut to Coca-Cola colour; good yellowish head. Very nice, fresh hops nose, mixed with a very obvious and remarkable lemonbalm aroma. Very hoppy taste, a bit of cigar ashes, melanoidins; wood & tannines retronsal. Smoke coming up after a while, both in nose and taste. Quite well-bodied, even some alcohol for its meagre 5.3%. A very good, very original Swedish ale, well worth searching. Thanks to IKEA traveler Stefaan gyllenbock (9713) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 10, 2009
50 cl bottle. Red brown color with good looking head. Roasted aroma with hints of coffee, licorice and nuts. Pleasant bitterness and nice grapefruit notes. Quite tasty. Svesse (8742) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - APR 24, 2007
(Bottle) Dark reddish brown colour with beige, firm, slowly diminishing head. Malty nose dominated by toffee, chocolate, coffee and citrussy hops in almost perfect harmony. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, toffee, Seville orange, coffee and citrussy hops in the finish. Lots of good stuff in this one, coffee tend to take over the aroma after a while. Toffee, caramel and citrus tend to dominate the taste. But everything in perfect balance. Liquid harmony. Hansen (8615) - Assentoft, DENMARK - OCT 5, 2009
