(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, dark amber with a small, off-white head. Fresh, citrusy nose - and a touch of coffee(??). Medium body, very fruity with incredibly fresh, hoppy notes. Lightly hoppy finish. A very yummy beer indeed. 200606

500 ml bottle. Thin tanned head over a clear reddish brown body. Predominant hop aroma with notes of mild coffee and roasted malts. Pleasant and mouthfilling hopbitter taste with semi-dry dark malts and roasty flavors. Dry mouthfeel, good body, and a pleasant and long lasting bitter finish. A really nice seasonal.

Bottle - 2008 version. Pours a dark amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma is mostly about the malts - lots of caramel/fudge, some dried fruits and a hint of warming spices. Flavour begins with roasted malty notes and a little sweetness . lots of caramel/fudge and some citrus fruit. Then the hops kicks in with a good amount of bitterness - you can feel the cascade - with notes of grapefruit zest. The finish is roasted and bitter.

500 ml bottle. Copper color, tan head. Hoppy aroma with some chocolate. Notably bitter flavor with plenty of hops and unsweetened chocolate in the background. Medium body, medium carbonation. Definitely not what I expected from an easter ale -- a pleasant surprise.

Deep ruby red beer with a creamy but quite thin head. The aroma has plenty of english hops, herbs and sweetness of dried fruits. Dryish malts, some caramel and a hint of toffy in the middle. Herbal hops, dried fruits and woody bitterness in the finish. I noticed some ash in the finish too. The palate is medium bodied and quite bitter. Well balanced.
