33 cl bottle. Pretty clear amber with a fair amount of almost white head. Hoppy aroma, some grain, grass and metal. Nothing special so far, but drinking it is a delight. Sweet taste, hoppy, bitter finish. goozen (4048) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - FEB 23, 2008

Golden to amber in color with a moderate, stable off-white head. Light caramel, light fruit, hint of floral hops, yeah this is a golden ale. Some english ale qualities. Dry floor malt, mild hopsack flavors. Very much reminds me of an english canned ale. Not that that is bad, it’s just sort of there. Some malt, some hops, a touch of fruit a little nuances. Simple drinkable ale. Rune (12612) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 31, 2008
330ml bottle from Systembolaget in Linköping. Bright dark golden look under a thin ring of bubbles. Fair lacing. Aroma of fresh grass and fruits. Moderate amount of succulent orange hops in flavour. Smooth bitter ending. Not just drinkable, but in fact rather morish (27.01.2008).

Bottle. Light stone fruit aromas. Amber tinged gold color with a respectable white head. Near medium body with creamy/fizzy carbonation. Definitely noble hop; with some light stone fruit - apricot does seem right. The finish is pretty dry, there are fruit notes, and it is deliciously bitter. As things go on, there seems to be citrus/grapefruit rind in small amount. Seems very underrated. Finn (7516) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 30, 2008

Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some lemon, light bread, metallic. Fairly bitter. Light-medium body, nice crispness, light acidity. Would fit nicely as an APA. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 13, 2008
500ml Bottle: Sweet aroma. Smells of floral hops, some citrus, caramel, straw, and hay. Poured golden/amber in color with a large, rocky, off-white head that lasted throughout. Excellent lacing. Hazy. Sparkling. Flavor is earthy and herbal and neither sweet nor bitter. Tastes of herbs, bitter hops, some caramel, and grass. Medium body. Chalky texture. Soft to average carbonation. Herbal, lightly bitter finish. Kalli (502) - Falun, SWEDEN - JAN 8, 2008
At first I’m trying to hit the aroma; perhaps peach? Then a slightly grain-like quality emerging and takes over; something I can’t recall experiencing with an ale before. Left me thinking of a blonde lager made with corn.
I was thinking peach on the flavour but it’s more floral, I’d guess. But mostly there are quite harsh, grassy hops with a lingering aftertaste. Not much finesse, really, but the overal effect isn’t bad. Quite refreshing and a bit interesting really.
I’ll give the appearance a 4; it only narrowly makes it but I like this beer too much to let it slide below 3. Besides I’ll be practically moving into the neighborhood and it’s not smart to get on bad terms with the local brewer, right?
