Bottle from Alko, Kemi. Non-suprising Oppigårds approach with fresh hoppiness and light maltyness. Like always very good balance and good drinkability. Not a typical oktoberfestbier. Archibaldo de la Cruz (1120) - FINLAND - OCT 10, 2012

Flaske 0,5l fra Alko Muonio. Drukket som matøl i heimen 25 Sep 12. Gyldenbrun. Veldig høyt luftig skum som fester seg litt til glasset. Skummet varer lenge. Forsiktig fruktig aroma. Fersken. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken litt krydder & frukt. Avslutter tørt & bittert. Godt øl.

Golden coloured and clear lager beer with light and lacy head. The aroma is surprisingly hoppy for the style: grassy and herbal, also slightly citrusy. Dryish grainy maltiness with a hint of toast and caramel. Bitterish finish with herbal notes. A bit thin maybe, but quite pleasant anyway. tlind2 (1718) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 23, 2012
500 ml bottle. Deep golden color, frothy white head. Appetizing aroma with some grassy hops and malt. Hoppy flavor with grapefruit, lasting dry finish. Medium body, medium carbonation. More of a pale ale than a märzen. I was hoping for a slightly sweeter palate that would off-set the strong hopping. Psytron (2283) - Turku, FINLAND - SEP 22, 2012
Smell is a nice combo of malts and hops. Copper colour with foamy cream-coloured head. Strong aroma of hops, slight metallic aftertaste. Some citrus to be noted. Medium bitter, slightly sour. Dermi (1185) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 20, 2012
