330 ml bottle in Germany thanks to omhper. Pours an amber color with a white head. Aroma is hops, fresh fruit, some perfume and buttery fudge. Very nice aroma. Flavor is hoppy - rather thin body - with notes of citrus and some pine and resin. Thin on the mid palate. The finish is bitter. Marsiblursi (3083) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 4, 2011
(Bottle) Pours golden with a pale, off-white head. The aroma is mild citric from the hops and light toasted from the malt up front. Undertones of dough, grass, fruits/dry pineapple and maybe some dry honey. The flavour is light sweet, medium bitter and light acidic. Citrus, grass, bread, light toast, resin and light fruits. The mouthfeel is super clean, fairly soft and light to medium carbonated. Lingering bitterness. Light to medium bodied. olsvammel (7289) - Örebro, SWEDEN - FEB 27, 2011
I’m having trouble not comparing this to the fantastic Amarillo Spring they released last year. However it doesn’t feel fair to compare last years best beer with a new release, so I’m going to try and put that aside. This is a single hop IPA with Chinook. It has a fairly light body and a strong yet pleasant bitterness. It has a herbal grassy hop aroma with some hay, citrus and grapefruit. It has a very high drinkability, both of the times I tried it I finished the glass faster then expected. I think it’s a combination of light body and mellow flavours. This is definitely a nice beer but I feel it’s missing hop aroma, might be something else as well. I just can’t get that satisfied feeling. On the plus side this beer has been very stable in quality, all I’ve tried so far have tasted the same, no off flavours and difference in quality.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2011 Bottle. Golden with a white head leaving some lacing. Aroma: floral, elderberry, citrus, grapefruit, some perfume, nice and fresh hoppiness. Taste: citrus, grapefruit, floral hops, some grass, light toffee, hints of pine, medium bitterness with some perfume in the finish. Medium-bodied with noticeable carbonation. None of the best from Oppigårds, but as always tasty and well balanced. SirLimpsalot (4549) - SWEDEN - FEB 26, 2011
Syrlig och gräsig humledoft. Mycket torr munkänsla av humlan. Frisk men känslan är inte optimal. Trevlig men lite för tunn eftersmak. Småtråkig. OleR (4849) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 25, 2011
Bottle from Systembolaget. A brief, big-bubbled greyish-blond head, covering a shimmering orangey-golden body. Seducing and superfresh hop aroma; Peaches, apricot, oranges and flowers. Light sweet, perfectly rounded malt body, balanced by a fair amount of citrussy, tropical fruit-accented hops. Properly light-bodied and creamy in the mouth. Nice fruity hop finish. What a treat! Even better than the 2010 version. The ultimate session beer? tkrjukoff (4334) - SWEDEN - FEB 25, 2011
Pours clear amber with a huge flufy off white head leaving lots of lace. Aroma is caramel, hay, hoppy, malty and piny. Acidy hoppy mouthfeel. Great hoppyness, fruity, sweet, floral and citric flavor. Very nice. Fruuity nice palate. Finishes with a great bitter longlived bite with a touch of fruity sweetness. Koyo (250) - SWEDEN - FEB 25, 2011
Bottle from Systembolaget. Aroma is quite rich with some roasty notes and some dough from the yeast. Some minor floral notes and some grass from the hops but nothing that stands out. It pours a light golden colour with a thick foam that leaves a lot of lacing. Taste is medium bitter with some roasted tones. Mouthfeel is great, just the right amount of carbonation.
