Marsiblursi (3076) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 30, 2012
(Bottle) Pours clear pale golden with an off-white head. The aroma holds woodsy citrus, (grapefruit, orange pine, flowers, juniper squash, pear juice, crisp bread, toast and white bread. Hints of canned pineapples, dried apricots, crackers, straw/hay, dried herbs, black currant tea, gooseberries and mushrooms. The flavour is near dry, medium bitter and tiny acidic with notes of citrus, grass, flowers, light resinous wood, mild pine black currant tea, juniper squash, tart/dried tropical fruits, crisp bread, hay and crackers. The mouthfeel is soft, smooth and clean with a near medium carbonation. Crisp bread, tart strawberries, green citrus, juniper, herbs and black currant on the finish. Near medium bodied.

pilsnerrogge (2986) - Finspång, SWEDEN - JUN 23, 2012
Bottled:
Pours a clear golden amber colour. Head is firm. The subtle aroma is hops and tropical fruits. Flavour is all about hoppy bitterness. A bit one dimensional. It’s not a bad beer, but it’s "just-another hoppy-beer-from-Oppigårds".

Grima (2506) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - OCT 21, 2012
330ml bottle from Bierzwerg!
The beer in the glass is golden and clear, with high, fine white head. It smells pleasantly citrus-hoppy, very fruity and slightly resinous. Starts intensely hoppy-bitter, with lots of grapefruit, tropical fruit and some pine wood. The middle part is intensely hoppy, bitter, spicy and very resinous. Goes into a fruity hoppy finish with some pine wood and herbs. Very complex Pale Ale!

TheJestersBeer (2430) - SWEDEN - SEP 5, 2012
330ml bottle, on the last day of summer, with rain p***ing down all day... Pours a medium gold, white head. Hoppy aroma, apricot, spruce, caramel, passion fruit. Dry, medium in both body and bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, malty, slightly grainy taste, apricot, caramel, soap, faint phenol/smoke, eucalyptus. Easy drinking, slightly robust for an APA, maybe I should call it a Scottich touch? (2012-08-31)

Aroma: Lemon and grapefruit smells, then some pine resin and soap.
Appearance: A hazy straw colored brew with a white compact head leaving some lacing and having good curtains.
Taste: A fructose sweet start, then grape-fruit juice and peel.
Palate: Little to medium carbonation, fresh texture, a medium body and a dry finish.
Overall: A straight refreshing summer ale.
Note: On-tap at De Klomp tasting. Reviewed 2012-05-26.
