Bottle. Thanks to whoever brought it! Golden body, off white head. Onion notes and fruity touches in the otherwise heavily malty, if a bit dry aroma. Smoooooth taste, clean maltiness and orangey hoppiness, orange juice almost, very light bitterness. A nice enough beer.

33 cl. bottle @ Home, Aroma: not very intense but very pleasant aromas of grapefruit, mango, passion fruit, tropical fruits, citrus, pine, resin. Some malt aroma and some sulfur when warmed and swirled. Appearance: golden to light golden color with slightly off-white head. Very high head thickness. Very high retention. Creamy head. Low Brussels' lacing. Low to medium hazyness. Taste: low sweetness, medium to high bitterness, no sourness. Flavors of grapefruit, tropical fruits, resin, pine, citrus. Balance is on the bitter side. If there is some sweetness, i couldn't notice it because of the huge hop load. No astringency despite of the high bitterness. Very subtle hints of alcohol sweetness when the beer warmed up. Palate: low to medium body, oily and a little bit creamy texture, low to medium carbonation, very long dry finish with medium to high bitterness and similar flavors of grapefruit, resin, pine, citrus, passion fruit, tropical fruit. Alcohol is quite high, but noticeable only as a low sweetness in the background. Overall: very good appearance. Not very intense aromas but very pleasant (except when the beer warmed up). Very good hop flavors. Quite drinkable despite of the high bitterness. Very good IIPA.

Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into glass (tried both from shaker and snifter glass). Appearance: Clear orange/copper colour; small head in shaker, medium in snifter glass. Aroma: Excellent fragrance of hops, pine, tropic fruits (mango). Palate: Medium to full body; medium carbonation. Taste: Hop, malt, mango, hint of alcohol mixed with pine; Bitter aftertaste. Overall impression: Excellent enjoyable beer! Tasty and fragrant, well-balanced. Not easy drinkable (as thirst quencher) but good for enjoyment.

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2017 Bottle 0,33L. Courtesy of Gregor. Clear, dark orange/copper color with big, frothy, off-white head. Nice aroma of pine, resin, herbs and tropical fruits. I got some light sweetness in taste at first, but bitterness punched two seconds later, carried on fruity, herbal, piney wave with long lasting aftertaste, that warms up a bit. Light to medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. I really enjoyed it!

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear amber color with medium creamy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of tropical fruit, grass, pine and a bit of paper. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel and resinous, following is grassy, mouthfeel is warming with well hidden alcohol, while finish is pleasant bitter. Full body, syrupy texture and average carbonation in palate. Great old school IPA...

Bottle. A lightly hazy golden colored beer with a small white head. Just a thin layer of bubbles actually. No lacing. The aroma is piney and grapefruity with a touch of grass and dusty malts. A light malty touch too. It's full bodied and lightly warming, very soft on the palate, with an appropriate bitterness matching the sweetness. Well, not matching really, but at levels you'd expect from a double IPA. Sweet, malty back and piney, grapefruity flavours up front. Some tropical notes too. For sure a decent double IPA, quite easy drinkable too, but a tad old school. 170928
