Bottle, 0.33l. Clear copper pour with slight red hue, thin off-white head, quickly diminishing. Nose bursting with hops. Fruity, grassy, refreshing pine notes. Clean and crisp. WillemsUrenkel (2047) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - AUG 19, 2017
Medium body, medium carbonation. Thick texture, slightly oily palate. Very smooth. Pretty high bitterness dominates the taste. However, it is incredibly well balanced and not once does it feel off or harsh. Aroma pretty much similar to nose. Subtle sweet malty backbone leading into rich hop bitterness. Grassy, citrus fruits, lots of grapefruit and mango, some passion fruit notes too. Pine. Peppery. Alcohol well hidden by the bitterness. A bit grainy. Drying mouthfeel. Long finish, dry and bitter, leaves you craving for another sip.
Overall, excellent Imperial IPA. Clean, crisp and rfreshingly bitter. Incredibly tasty, well done.
