Loads of tropical fruits and a hint of caramell maltyness in aroma. More fruit in taste with a small malt backbone, really nice bitterness! Great beer!

Kita (2215) - Koper, SLOVENIA - OCT 21, 2017
Bottle, 0.33l. Clear amber color with medium creamy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of tropical fruit, grass, pine and a bit of paper. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel and resinous, following is grassy, mouthfeel is warming with well hidden alcohol, while finish is pleasant bitter. Full body, syrupy texture and average carbonation in palate. Great old school IPA...

Pours clear amber with white head. Aroma is caramel, grapefruit, resin and pine. Flavour is resin, fruity, medium sweet and medium to heavy bitter.

yngwie (17186) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 28, 2017
Bottle. A lightly hazy golden colored beer with a small white head. Just a thin layer of bubbles actually. No lacing. The aroma is piney and grapefruity with a touch of grass and dusty malts. A light malty touch too. It's full bodied and lightly warming, very soft on the palate, with an appropriate bitterness matching the sweetness. Well, not matching really, but at levels you'd expect from a double IPA. Sweet, malty back and piney, grapefruity flavours up front. Some tropical notes too. For sure a decent double IPA, quite easy drinkable too, but a tad old school. 170928

Sllightly hazy orange-coppery with a froathy white head. Exotix fruit, oranges and grapefruit aroma. Taste of grapefruit, mango, pine and malt.

jfric (13) - Ormož, SLOVENIA - SEP 13, 2017
Bronze body with a thick white head. Aroma of mostly citrus and pine with a hint of honey. Tastes of citrus, pine and grapefruit medium bitter ending. Moderate body with a slick texture and a lively carbonation. Even for a double IPA it's refreshing.

klm1 (1786) - Bled/SF, - SEP 11, 2017
Pours golden slightly clear with foamy dissipating white head. Aroma: gentle citeusy, fruoty, pine like hop character. Flavor follow aroma: fruity, citrusy, slight floral, resinous hop profile supported by biscuity, toffee like malt backbone. Hop bitterness is very high, finish bitter dry and lingers in aftertaste. Body is medium, texture is smooth, carbonation is medium.

Lore (2873) - Budapest, HUNGARY - SEP 10, 2017
Opalescent dark golden to orange colour, moderate sized creamy off-white head; aroma of grapefruit, piney and lemony notes; taste is dominated by hoppy bitterness with bitter marmalade, resiny and grapefruit notes; not bad at all!

nephirem (605) - CROATIA - SEP 8, 2017
Bottle, 0.33l. Clear copper pour with slight red hue, thin off-white head, quickly diminishing. Nose bursting with hops. Fruity, grassy, refreshing pine notes. Clean and crisp. Medium body, medium carbonation. Thick texture, slightly oily palate. Very smooth. Pretty high bitterness dominates the taste. However, it is incredibly well balanced and not once does it feel off or harsh. Aroma pretty much similar to nose. Subtle sweet malty backbone leading into rich hop bitterness. Grassy, citrus fruits, lots of grapefruit and mango, some passion fruit notes too. Pine. Peppery. Alcohol well hidden by the bitterness. A bit grainy. Drying mouthfeel. Long finish, dry and bitter, leaves you craving for another sip. Overall, excellent Imperial IPA. Clean, crisp and rfreshingly bitter. Incredibly tasty, well done.

WillemsUrenkel (1984) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - AUG 19, 2017
0,33 l bottle shared with Kristall-König. Smells stronger than their normal IPA. Taste starts fruity with a malty. Less alcoholic. Mid long lasting bitterness. Nice.
